listening at the moment is quite funny, apparently its some of the players fault a tanker has turned over and they should be at the ground at breakfast time just in case this happens...
That would be strange, if people could travel from out of town without being caught up in traffic problems, but people who lived nearer didn't manage to make it in. Says here though that both teams were caught up in it. I'm more suspicious about the location on the motorway...
Did I read that there had been fatalities in the crash? Wow, I was on that road at 3 pm. Indeed, I possibly passed the very tanker further up the road. Wow!
The Bradford coach set off earlier and made it through, the match officials, media and a few Hull players got stuck and that's the reason it got canceled. Not heard about any fatalities, very sad if true.
I was half a mile behind the tanker crash. If I'd set off 30 seconds earlier I could have been where the tanker was. Scary stuff. After sitting for over 3 hours the emergency services opened the central reservation and sent us back the way we came. I didn't make it to the wedding reception at tickton grange
I think the bradford coach got a police escort, but the hull players who live in west Yorkshire got caught up in the traffic and couldnt get through. Obviously all the bradford fans got caught up in it too.
