Very interested in Salsify @ 4/1 BOG in the 4.20 at Leopardstown.

Been beaten twice by Tammys Hill, who reopposes,in deep Winter ground earlier in the season.Salsify enjoys a 4lb pull for those defeats which gives him every chance.

He has been trained with the festival in mind and took this last year en route to Cheltenham victory. The better ground is a help and he will strip much fitter this time and is taken to exact revenge on his old rival.

The dangers are legion but Tammys Hill and Goonyella, who is one for the future, rate the main threats.

I expect Salsify to be backed.

Tomorrow there are so many horses to make strong cases for its going to have to be a day of self control.

I will nominate one investment at this stage though, that is SIVOLA DE SIVOLA (EW) in the 13.50 at Newbury currently trading at around 8/1 .

The 7yo grey gelding looks reasonably well treated tomorrow in the context of this race. Any improvement on his previous run behind the very useful - AT FISHERS CROSS - a winner since - sees him go very close indeed.

I would anticipate he will be closer to full fitness now, we are yet to see the best of this fellow and i would expect a big run tomorrow.

Also gonna have a few quid on Sivola De Sivola @ 9/1 e/w in the 1.50 at Newbury.

He ran fifth off this mark at Cheltenham LTO and whilst it would be nice to see him drop a few lb's the collateral form of that race is so strong the h'capper is given little leeway to reduce his mark.

He was trying to concede weight to the winner At Fishers Cross who has since won a G2 and returned a 145 performance. The second won a G3 on Thursday running to 135.The fourth has come out and won the Welsh Champion Hurdle.

Sivola De Sivola is a big quirky otherwise I would having a bigger punt but he is a course winner and should be thereabouts with 4 places available.

It doesn't put me off George. Although I'm somewhat underwhelmed at the moment, as my main selection for this is CASH AND GO, but decided just to have a cheeky quid ew on former champion hurdler Punjabi. Unfortunately I somehow hit the "1" key twice and ended up with an £11 ew bet <laugh>

I also think Chatterbox in the first at Newbs is a jailbait case :))) and Master of the Sea won't be able to handle the power of Barafundle <ok>

I have spent over an hour looking at the Game Spirit and have decided that if you manage to get the winner of this it's through pure luck!!

Last Saturday i was looking thru the footy games and thought id stick a few quid on Hartlepool in a single against Notts County at 3/1 , typed into bet365 '4'

It said my return was £176, to which i sh** myself!! I typed 44 by accident. Left about 7 quid in my account, tried to get on the live chat to tell em of my mistake, the wait was painstaking. I just got on live chat and hartlepool has scored...i clicked the cross in the corner and spent the next 90 mins glued to the inplay betting lol

    they won 2-1 thank god,

but now i double check everybet online :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I've been following Leo Luna on the flat, nicely bred, didn't seem to set the world alight, interesting he has been switched from Stoute to Moore and is to be tried over fences. Shame he has been entered against Chatterbox who is clearly a very good horse, could be an interesting watch though. Celestrial Halo and Swing Bowler have come out of Galileo and over fences so I guess he could take to fences

A good win for Chatterbox tomorrow ought to see him in the Cheltenham picture. Some cracking cards just looking through.
