Cheers, I as always ahve to go back to work this afternnon, but glad to have lunch off to catch the game. I am going to watch Gallos Blancos v Jaguares tomorrow too as Queretaro take on Chiapas. Should be good although the local team here are bottom of the league and probably going down next season. $170mxp a ticket, not bad at $20 pesos a pound.

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/league/_/id/mex.1/mexico?cc=3888 for those who might want a peak at the table. The league system is strange here. There are two leagues a year and two champions, and an overall champion. Queretaro had a bad first half and are now fighting relagtion despite doing ok this term.

Basically, here is it like a league then small play offs to see who wins the title for the first half of the season. Then the same for the second half of the season when an overall Champion is decided and relagation is settled. <steam> Hard to work out I can tell you !!

That name does ring a small bell - nowhere near the size of Shiner, Bill, Mole, Inky and Dusty though. The first two had a spot reserved for them in my toilet u-bend.<laugh> Who was Trog?

Morning All, woke up this morning to white stuff falling from the sky and now everywhere is wet again. The man from the meteo reckons we might have a heap this evening, but seeing as he didn't predict it for this morning I suspect that he doesn't really know. :(

With the game being played last night I had all sorts of jobs planned for today, so they are on hold again. At least I managed to finish off my water collecting last week and have doubled the quantity that I can store for the hot days of summer. ;)

    Wet, grey and sleety.

Time for Sunday paper and coffee and perhaps rugby on TV this afternoon. Still think all football should be played at 3pm on a Saturday:steam:

Afternoon all from a chilly and damp bandit country. I decided not to go and support the ex-Watford conf team play Them this afternoon - well daughter suggested to Mrs W_Y it would not be a good idea <yikes> But will be virtually cheering on FGR
So in fron of the TV watching the Prem offering and then the Rugby later instead...

Well that was an exciting afternoon - all kicked off down at The Kennel and Bangura got sent off for violent conduct <yikes> and they dropped points at home again. But result of the afternoon goes to Posh - keeps us close and those pesky foxes will be quiet tonight. Just need Brighton to get there act togther tonight and will turn OK - Oh and England winning tomorrow as well!

That Posh win was huge. Leicester tend to wobble after a bad result.

I'm actually starting to believe that they won't make the playoffs. I joke about it every season, but even I'm realistic enough to know that they're unlikely to fail quite that spectacularly. A lot of that has to do with Mansfield's result today.

A last minute winner from Will Buckley would really round the evening off. <cheers>

Just spotted that OFH - maybe a ghost goal to Brighton would start to even things up a bit
Brighton are on the up in the game !
