He's being a moany **** and "not sure if I want to play anymore" attitude. Yet he is going to continue to play with LA. Nail his colors to the mast I think. THink Klinsmann said go play in Europe, go make yourself a known name in a known league. Everytime he shuns away from that. With Bayer and you lot he could have stayed but he wanted to keep the comfy life.
But he never took the step when it was clear he had the talent to but he always wanted to fall back into the #1 role whether it was LA, US national team, etc. COuldn't handle just being one of many.
Yeah I know, however we wouldn't have been able to afford him being the most coveted American footballer (ever?).
Ya now it is ever since he broke the scoring record I think a year ago. This is why I like Dempsey and Bradley better than Donovan as they went to the big leagues and played, stayed, got better, and moved up the ladder. Still think Donovan can play a role in this US team mind but we shall see after he gets his mani and pedi's, he might want it again.
