This. Simply can't see it happening, I can see Drogba going back to France(OM) or one of them ''clubs'' who can afford his massive wages(Turkey, Arab rich-filled nations, etc.). <ok>

Would have him in a heartbeat, him with Ben Arfa playing off him would be ****ing lethal. No more than 80k a week though (which Colo is reportedly on).

Looks like a richer mans' Ameobi. <laugh>

Ben Arfa - Drogba combination could see us being in contention for the Europa League places next season IMO <ok>

Yeah I'd have him. 8mill max though. We'll basically be paying for 2/3 seasons of him and there's no re-sale value, so the only return on investment will be the goals he provides.

Whether he'd come or not depends on:

1). Tiote - If he can convince him to come
2). Wages - If he's already made a ****ing mint and he's willing to be on a lower wage for the last few years of his career
3). His ego - If he only wants to be seen in a top club, or whether he's his own man, doesn't give a **** what anyone else thinks and fancies a challenge or a change.

can't believe people would be willing for us to spend anywhere from 6m to 12m as well as 75k to 100k wages for a 33 yr old yes he's good as is van Nistelrooy who is available for free and only a yr older but would you have him ........didn't think so
would prefer the money to go on someone younger on less wages

Because people who watch German football will tell you he's past it now, and Drogba clearly isnt.

The thing with Drogba is you wouldn't just be paying for his goals and his game time.... Imagine Ranger/Airey/Sameobi etc having 2 seasons of training with him and watching his movement. They don't have the best role models at the moment!

This and only this!! Drogba would be immense and would impart so much knowledge that 10 million and 70k would easily be worth it. He has not been injury prone and while his malaria certainly hindered him a bit, he is certainly still one of the best going. If he wanted to join us, we would be foolish to turn it down.
