Avram Grant is going back to Chelsea as director of football.

Why would West Ham even want Nigel? They'll get a big name. They would have gone for Sven I reckon if he hadn't recently joined Leicester.

 

So am I, as it is a relevant comparison for discussion on the 'Ull City Board. If you wish to discuss it without any mention of Tigers' players/managers, then maybe you should go onto another board, i.e., West Ham's!

I can envisage a scenario where Pearson goes to West Ham and we end up with Mclaren, at least he won't have to put on any ridiculous Dutch/German accents if he comes here. I had a feeling before Pearson is maybe disappointed with the lack of support from sections of the home fans which is impacting on the team, he could think that maybe it's a tough one to turn around. I would be very upset if he left but that's football I suppose, just a shame that some fans can't see what a top class manager we have at the moment, but again, that's football for you.
