Salmond's plan to turn Scotland into a nation of teauchtars!

What's your council wasting money on?

I'm amazed how low the figures are for Ireland and Wales. In Scotland both English and Gaelic languages were introduced by colonists, guess the Picts probably spoke something like Welsh?

I'm in Brent - i don't read the local papers any more and try not to ever find out what's going on in the council as I'd break down in despair.

Wasn't Brent the original "loony lefty" council, who was that black geezer in the 80s who was like the demon overlord of commies in the press?

That was Bernie grant wasn't it- he was harringey. Our Council leader was Mkechi Amalou Johnson. I think all her family were from Berkshire.

Yup his name came to me as soon as I hit the button. Don't hear anything about looney lefties these days, remember Derek Hatton the militant leader with a Jag? Personalised plate. They are all self-serving parasites from the extreme left to the extreme right. That's why I joined the anarchist party.

Bernie was my MP when I lived in Wood Green. He got a lot of heavy criticism for saying, after the Broadwater Farm riots, that the police got a good kicking and only had themselves to blame. A bit insensitive given the death of PC Kieth Blakelock, but actually he was right, and subsequent public enquiries more or less said the same thing (in less emotive language).
