I'm not smug about the state of our finances, neither would I relish seeing QPR fade into obscurity a la pompey. But the notion that a team that plays in front of 17000-19000 fans at home and is able to spend money in the way QPR have done in recent history really pisses me off, but Man City are as bad. Football is going to go pear shaped and clubs that indulge their rich benefactors are the ones sounding the death knoll.

I was/chatting to people about this situation and we all agreed that if one of the big ones, the Lehman Brothers of football, went tits up, the Prem and FA would immediately jump to the rescue either by financial assistance or altering the rules.

Don't worry lads I'm going to find out what hotel the buggers are staying at and wake them up at 4am Saturday morning. Not the 1st time that's happened to them when playing in Wales either

I've noticed they don't like the Toon either. See what I mean, the best boards with the best fans and those warped sods take exception

I like you, Dill, but you are a very bitter man for some reason.

Match report 1700 9/2/13 Liberty Stadium - Welsh Wales

Premiership leading scorer Adel Taarabt improved his chances of taking the golden boot with a brace of goals at the Liberty, putting daylight between himself and chasing Dutchman Robin van Persie and rat faced Uruguyan cheat Suarez.Taarabt first equalised Michu's first half header with a rasping forty yard shot that beat the swansea keeper all ends up.Then in the ninety fifth minute he dribbled through the entire Swansea defence to score the winner. QPR now stand on the brink of qualification for the Champions League.Mr Lawrenson,54,was later taken away by two men in white coats.

I don't know why. You had some trouble at QPR. Seems a bit of an overreaction.

    This

I had trouble at the Millenium stadium during a 6 nations game (was 19 and walking along with my wife), had trouble at the Cardiff play off final, trouble at the Swansea v Cardiff FAW game and got abuse at the Swansea FA cup game.... guess they just don't like me in Wales

Lol, Rich, we weren't married then, she didn't have that pleasure until I was 27.

Three kids later and she still reminds me of it.
