We'll hit the woodwork from a couple of yards out first, just so we can confirm our dominance and inevitable victory but yes, around about 4-2 we will throw the kids on.

sound reasonable .. but I think the game will be too close to afford taking out our key players

Just in general. I wouldn't play both Rooney and RVP a full 90 minutes with the Madrid game in mind. It's not like we don't have any other strikers that could come in and do a job. Pull Carrick/Cleverly out, throw Anderson/Scholes on. It wouldn't exactly be putting on a weaker side, but would utilize our strength in depth.

i can't believe some people here saying we need to rest some player's.

No we need to play our strong team on, Everton is going to be a tough game, they will be full of confident after the 4-4 draw and the win against us, theyw ill have a real go at us, we need to win, make sure we get the 3 points. we don't want to lose cheap points by resting player's and then coming to regret it when it comes may. i know Real is a big game but lets focus on Everton now and getting the 3 points. We need to win the title back off city this season.

do some of us really thinks the title race is over? we are 9 points clear but we still got a long way to go and still need to play city, Chelsea and Arsenal(away). we need to get points before the big games comes especially the derby.

    my team would be

    .......................................De Gea.......................................
    .......Rafeal............Rio/Smalling...............Vidic(C).....Evra.........
    ........Valencia.........Carrick (if fit)........Kakawa/Scholes...Nani/Giggs..
    ...................................Rooney..............................................
    ............................................Van Persie....................................

I don't know about Carrick's injury but if its something serious then we should not risk it and play Cleverley instead.

If Young is fit, put him on the bench and give him 20 or 15 minuets run out because i think if Young is fit he should start against Real Madrid because Young work's hard for the team and he helps out indefense and if Ronaldo plays on Evra's side, he can help out Evra in defense.

    i would had played
    ............................GEA.................................
    ..Smalling....Evans.......Vidic.......EVRA..........
    ...............................carrick .........................
    ................................Celverly..............Nani
    .....Welbeck.........Chicha............RVP..........

    against Real
    will play

    ............................GEA.................................
    ..........Rafeal....Rio.......Vidic.......EVRA..........
    ...............................carrick .........................
    ......................Kagawa......Anderson..............
    .....Valencia........RVP............Rooney..........

I will not play Rooney at the first game, just because he will be tired, but will put him on bench and play him at the start of the 2nd if needed
Kagawa will be dominated by physical everton, And Anderson pace could be important facing Real as am sure we will be counter attacking them.. so they could be better facing Real instead
valencia form is average right now .. he will struggle to find space facing a compact Everton side .. he will enjoy it more facing Real

You wouldn't play Welbeck against Real when he's so vital to United's system?

    grow up and move on
i said his style is vital to feed rooney and RVP and link up our game.. meanwhile I doubt we can afford to play with 3 strikers facing Real
now you can continue being childish and twist my words .. feel free ... or simply do yourself a favor and get a life <ok>

you quoted that i said welbeck is "so Vital", as far as i remember i never used "so vital" may be "vital", YES, but sure not "so vital".. now i Challenge you to show me where i said he is "so vital".. i wonder why you need to add and change and exaggerate my quotes ? are you that desperate? is your life that shallow & empty?
now please show me where i said that he is "so Vital" ? am waiting.. failing to do that .. shows exactly how mature you are exaggerating what i said to make a point <doh>

now thanks to your mature input, we are out of the subject discussing the game ... well done ... Bravo <applause>

no no .. Please .. explain why you needed to add the "so"?
welbeck is not so vital, that put him in same level as RVP or rooney
his role is vital .. but we can have other alternatives
