Anyone have any indications on how many weâve sold for this Saturday? Iâve been on one of Brightonâs boards guesstimating at around a thousand, but wondering if thatâs a tad optimistic with it being on the box. We took around 1400 last year, but it was a warm October day and this figure presumably included a few that wanted a tick for a new ground.
Id guess around the thousand number to be fair... Remembering the southern City fan base, and the amount of people that will go for the weekend etc.
I have no idea about our ticket sales(other than all my mob decided they wanted to watch it on the telly and I'm not going now), but a few things re the team for Saturday... Despite having stitches in his knee, Meyler has trained and is expected to be available. The two new lads will be assessed in training tomorrow and one of them could make the bench(presumably Gedo). In other news, Bruce has said he has not made an approach from Boyd, but that "he's a player I like." (giving nothing away with that one)
One of the blokes in the ticket office said that they expect to sell more tickets for Brighton than they did for Millwall. But with it being on Sky Tv Live the crowd will be hit. With 3 home games coming up i would guess that many will not bother and stay at home and watch. We shall do well IF a thousand are at the game.
With Faye out injured we have a spot on the bench at the very least. So Gedo will get it regardless. imo
I would assume that either Oli or Stewart would drop out completely, unless they are impressing SB in training, for the other one too.
Well with Faye out GEDO would enter the match day 18. However, you would be correct IF FATHI was also to be included.
