    Wass goin awn dahn yourn?

TWO people from Bromley, including a 16-year-old boy, and one from Bexley have been charged after Charlton supporters allegedly went on the rampage on Saturday evening.

Groups of Charlton supporters have been accused of smashing up cars and damaging residents' property following their team's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.

Trouble had initially started inside the ground, when several rows of seats were broken, flares illegally set off and toilets damaged.
But problems escalated as the away fans went home, with fans allegedly jumping on cars, knocking down parts of a wall and smashing vehicles as they made their way to Norwood Junction station.

Ten people have been arrested so far and four charged.

They include a 16-year-old boy from Bromley who was arrested and charged with possession and discharge of a flare at a sporting event, and is due to appear at Croydon Youth Court on February 14.

Alex Kingshott, aged 35, of Hillview Road, Chislehurst, has been charged with possession of cocaine and Nicky Windham, 28, of Latham Road, Bexleyheath, has been charged with affray.
Both will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on February 27.

A fourth man, Mark Wilson, from Sutton in Surrey, was charged with possession and discharge of a flare at a sporting event.
Six other men were arrested for a variety of offences including affray, police obstruction, public disorder offences and possession of class A drugs.

They have all been bailed to return to a south London police station in March.

More arrests are expected after police confirmed they were investigating damage caused after the match.

Will I be safe in March? <yikes><yikes>

Good news that arrests have been made, particularly whoever let off a flare. Someone did that at The New Den when we played you and nearly hit a ball-boy, and it was a flare which caused that massive fire in the Brazilian Club, killing over 200 youngsters. More arrests soon- good. Hanging's too good for them.

On a serious note, speaking personally, I don't want these morons associated with us in any way. the quicker they're dealt with and preferably banned from this and any other ground sine die, the better.

Well I've never heard of them... They can't be real fans.

Alex Kingshott obviously comes from a bad family, how else coould he have got a name like 'Kingshott'?

I know of someone with a surname of 'Tugwell' - God know how his family earnt their moniker (which incedentally is his mother's name). He's a Millwall fan actually!

I can't really see any arrest for criminal damage though. Maybe its been hard to identify what cars were actually damaged by cafc fans given the state of the parked cars in the first place, one would have been forgiven for thinking that they were all parked up after banger racing, bunch of two bob clios and toyotas.

I can't agree that lighting a flare is such a crime, wearing them yes but lighting one up-no. Thirty people were stabbed in London last weekend, two murders and probably 3000 kilos of sniff went up clubbers, accountants and cabbies noses and what happens? nothing. but a teenager with a firework, a charlie head and a few punch ups and CAFC are suddenly the crips. Any truth in the story that Harry the Dog was thrown through a pub window by Southampton fans? I was told this by a Saints fan.
