I hadn't realised this but according to the Fulham Chronicle, Dynamo Kiev made a bid for Kaca in January and are considering a second offer. The Ukranian transfer window has another 23 days to run, although I don't know where that sits now that ours has closed. Here is the article -
I didn't know that the Russian window was still open, Cottager. If that's the case then it will mean that English clubs (or clubs from anywhere else where the window is closed) will be able to sell to the Russians, but not buy from them. Our window being over wouldn't stop us from selling Kacaniklic if we wanted. But as the article you quote suggests, I don't think we're going to want to sell. Let's hope not, anyway.
