Don't think they had many asian supporters or yanks back then though. They got the sympathy support alright.

They had huge support BEFORE they started to win EVERYTHING....

Even in the 70's when Man u never won **** all they had strong support all over the dam place .

Pointless saying anything to Leeds fans who just hate the fact that Man Utd are world famous and have been for years while Leeds , like Hull City are not.

Oh Leeds are still big. My wife and I work together, and spend usually two days a week fitting our work. Both of us always wear our Leeds jackets and it's safe to say most days a stranger will walk up to us explaining they are a Leeds fan for years and immediately strike up a conversation. Anyone who thinks we're not big is delusional. As for Scum, I dont care about them, Charlton, Best, Munich, their fan base. I wont ever have to watch them and couldnt care less how big or small they are

Nice observation skills on old posts. What d'you do with your time again? <ok>

It is possible to move houses. Do you live near Milwall, always have, and always will?

If so. I'm worried. Worried for you.

There are many reasons why we hate the scum, being a world famous brand is not one of them. Ull aren't even famous in Yorkshire.

I find when i find out someone supports Man United I instantly lose a great deal of respect for them, it's like every other characteristic they have must originate from the fact they are more than likely clueless about football or just a glory hunter.

Look, yes the English media adopted Scum after the Munich disaster, but Scum still weren't MASSIVE! I grew up in Cape Town, and the best supported clubs right through to the 80's were Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and Everton. Not a lot of Scum supporters. I even met more Newcastle fans. Why? Because English football wasn't shown on South African telly until 1982!! When the Prem started and suddenly Scum started to fill our screens, that's when a whole new breed of supporter appeared, the fcuking plastic glory hunter!! Most of them miserable, unsociable under achievers who needed something to fill the void, and also who can't stand losing. Bunch of cnuts!!! That's when my dislike of Scum started. The most arrogant, whining bunch of pr1cks you could ever wish to meet. While Scum were winning nothing these invisible tw@ts didn't exist, once Fergie could finance a squad they all jumped on the marketing bandwagon. Fcuk Scum, they are an awful "club" and I'm so pleased I don't "support" them. The sooner they go bust the better, maybe then Sky will fcuk off and football will return to the fans. Oh, and just so you know, I've followed Leeds United since 1965!! I moved to the UK in 1998 so that I could see the Gods playing on the hallowed turf at Elland Road. Would you...little Scum fan...make that sacrifice for your club? Thought not.
