Rooney will definitely not start after playing the whole 90 min the QS is, will it be Chicha or Welbeck or both who will start then? I think Sir Alex will have an eye on the Real game when making his selction, whether he will go with Welbeck, RVP and rooney, Kagawa or RVP, rooney, Nani and valencia? i doubt he want us to lose possession facing Real, so he may opt to use Nani against Everton instead but don't know tbh.. is really a tricky selection ahead of Sir Alex now
Of course he will start.. He needed playing time and match fitness. We need to win against Everton. We will put out our strongest team try an grab a goal or two then consider resting players. You do talk a bit of ****e at times.
let us hope so sure match fitness is important but so is player energy level,... best players when fully fit but tired, will struggle during games
I think we should put our strongest out and worry about the Real game after, don't want to give City a sniff at the league title this year.
This. It's no coincidence that we've won the PL both times we won the CL and both times we reached the final, and two out of the three times we reached the semi. Also the times we've done worst in the PL we've also underperformed in Europe. We're not Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal needing to sack off any chance of the league title in order to do well in Europe, we have proved in the past we can handle both of them. Winning the league is more about mental strength than physical strength anyway, and giving our all in both competitions helps to build the right mentality to win.
totally agree .. I thought some key players should had been reseted in saints game (so we play our stronger side in the Fulahm away game) , but man .. how wrong was I? it was really a hard earned victory against the saints agree we should forget about the Real game by now and focus on getting those 3 points from Everton
Think we will go all out to beat Everton and get the points on the table ( Rooney and RVP to start) with an attack minded mid (Nani/Valencia, Kagawa Cleverley and Carrick). Against Madrid away i think we will go with one striker (RVP) and put in an extra mid fielder to stop the ball reaching Ronaldo and Benzima/Higuain (in this case deffinately Valencia ahead of Nani to help Raphael out and maybe Jones if fit alongside Carrick in place of Kagawa, Anderson if Jones is still injured). We will be more attacking against Madrid in the home tie.
There will NOT be a minutes silence before Sundays #mufc v Everton game The players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect.
No minute silence? seems strange, we prefer you over City and the ****e so I doubt there'd be any trouble from our end.
After the minute 'silence' at Wembley, i could understand why we're not doing it, even though i want us to do it.
I know Everton are a strong side, but I'd be quite happy for us to rest a few with the Real game coming up. We do have a 9 point gap after all, so I think it is worth the risk. Even with a 2nd outfit we are still very strong at home
I hope Fellaini doesn't play, apparently he was a doubt earlier in the week, I haven't heard anything since...
He's fine, he was out on the piss with the Belgians & then suddenly had a slight knock...he was an unused substitute for them last night
Ok Matth, I take issue with you here on posting this facepalm. What is it meant to say? I know when Shwan uses them it says "I am wrong but I have no answer so I wil act like a smart arse as there's nothing left for me to say" but with you it is just meaningless. Shergar has a point, putting a face palm as your answer makes you look a prick quite frankly.
why should we rest players against Everton, the league is our bread and butter and we want to win it, fair enough if we're 3-0 up but not before that.
