this guy is so hyped up, yet everytime i watch him play he just doesnt look that good. its not only him there are others who are banded about as the new pele, zidane etc etc but in reality are just show ponies who flop on the big stage. would be great to hear what others think?
see the potential there, i agree he has been hyped up too much for my liking, but he is Brazilian so high expectations are expected anyway, he is still a young lad. Doesn't he play in Brazil? think he does, so maybe he needs to move to a club in Europe to get sharper. Be nice if he came here, front line of Sturridge,Suarez and Neymar would be mouth watering. think he has 6 goals in last 8 games int level or something, so not bad but could be better. i see another Suarez in him, where he has all the skill but he could be better in front of goal, that will come in time.
He seems to have a lot of talent but is a rough diamond, I'm sure he will make the move to europe soon and for big money but will he be the next big thing? I'm not sure.
It would be harsh to judge him on one match, but I thought he was quite disappointing. Can't wait to see what he's like in the World Cup next year, playing in front of his own crowd. But for people to be putting in the same bracket as Messi and Ronaldo are ridiculous.
That is the first game I've watched him and he has disappointed. Maybe he doesn't like the cold weather?
How many times have you seen him play? My dad watched the world cup where Messi was playing ****, having never seen him play before and also claimed that he was overrated. Same with Ronaldo. I think it's pointless calling someone overrated for underperforming in a friendly thousands of miles from where they live/play.
its easy score at international level mostly.. then you come up agaisnt the one decent team in 10 and you flop... neymar will only be tested when he moves to a big league and plays week in and week out.... I mean come on guys peopel would say the same about aguero 3 years ago.
It was just one bad game ffs. He's a top talent, just needs to move out of his comfort zone, it's only hampering his growth.
Nothing hampering the growth of that ridiculous coiffure he's got going on. Maybe if he spent a little more time on the training field instead of under the blow dryer he might've had a better night.
Haven't seen enough of him to make a decision. He does look like a bit of a showboater. Would rather that somebody-else paid the money and took the risk in bringing hime to Europe. From what I have seen, I don't think that he'd be an instant hit in the Prem.
