Morning Y'all Nunez has found a new club, bet you can't guess who. Here's a clue :- please log in to view this image Thats right folks, FC Dallas. I'm sure we all wish him well.... Leeds have a busy schedule in the next seven days. They travel to Molineux this weekend under pressure to close the six-point gap to sixth-placed Middlesbrough ahead of Tuesday’s game against Boro at The Riverside. Looks like McCormack will miss out due to illness which also kept him out of the Scotland squad yesterday. If both fit, do we start with Morison or Hibabou? Who watched the internationals yesterday? Has club football become more important than your Country, if so, why??
Morning Elland. Watched bits of the Ireland game. Actually had the offer of a lift and free ticket to it. So little interest in internationals, couldn't be bothered going and I'm less than an hour away. I suppose the potential for transfers helps with club football. Even if you've been ****e for eight years, there's always the hope of a wealthy investor coming along and changing your fortunes. With internationals, countries like N. Ireland and Scotland can remain piss poor for decades and fans have no hope for improvement as they're stuck with same panel of dross, year after year, so they inevitably lose interest. In Ireland, there is a huge swing towards rugby, due in no small part to a decade of poor performances and horrible entertainment from our international football team. Apart from last night's game, we are unwatchable most of the time

Morning all - I find it hard to get excited over a friendly game, give me a Leeds win over England any day.
Dawson done well for Wales u21's when he came on by the sound of things Young Leeds United midfielder Chris Dawson made an instant impression on his Wales under 21 debut. Dawson came on after 64 minutes with the game goalless against Iceland at Llanelli. Wales went on to win 3-0 with three goals in the final twelve minutes and the young Leeds midfielder played his part, setting up the second goal. Wales went ahead thanks to a strike from Bristol City winger Wes Burns and two minutes later, a ball by Dawson set up Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams, who fired into the top corner. The host added a third in the final minute when Wrexham striker Robert Ogleby blasted into the roof of the net from close range. The win was a first at the third attempt for new under 21 coach Geraint Williams who is preparing his side for the European 2015 qualifiers that start later this year. Wales face a tough task to qualify with England amongst their opponents in the group stage.
I'm still yet to witness a better atmosphere than Windsor Park on a big night, say 1-0 win over England, or 3-2 over Spain. Haven't missed a Northern Ireland home match in 10 years, it is incredibly hard to watch at times, glad I didn't have to watch last night. You get used to distant memories of better times when you are a Leeds fan I suppose.
Morning Elland, morning others. I would imagine England's game last night must have been worth the effort. The Brasilians are always worth watching. That said, Wembley is a sh&t hole to get to & back from late at night. Surprised Nunez has gone so far down the pyramid of football standards. MLS is only L2 at best or possibly L1, even with their overpaid stars. That said, good luck to him. Nice to see another of our academy doing well. Can only help in the longer term. Two big games where we need a minimum of 4 points. If Ross isn't fit, I'd start with Morison & Varney with Habibou on the bench. Varney hasn't done much wrong of late, and as such, deserves to keep his place.
Hello to all-quick query for those of you well versed in the functioning of Not606. How does one one change their name on here? Obviously Luciano has done the off, so I need to change my name!!!
John Meehan @MeehanMedia #Former HullFC owner Adam Pearson says he'll return to football ownership - with #Leeds United his dream Club. #HCAFC #LUFC From the article Linked: "Sports Entrepeneur Adam Pearson has vowed to make a return to football and named Leeds United as his dream club to do that with. Pearson, who is turning his attention to the recruitment market with Pro Sports Recruitment (PSR), is well-known to Yorkshire and Humber sports fans, having sat on the board of some of our biggest Clubs. He previously owned and chaired football clubs Hull City and Derby County and is former director of Leeds United. Speaking to insider, he has also insisted he will make a return to the game. "I will definitely get back into football," Pearson said. "I'm just looking for the right opportunity. I would like to go in with a consortium with a Club that has huge potential." When pushed for a name, he added: "The one that stands out is Leeds United." "Everybody in Leeds needs that club back in the Premier League. A city of this size should have a Premier League club."
morning all I was of the understanding that the MLS was mixed some championship standard so lower. I want to see Habibou start on Saturday. We were after him for long enough give him a chance to show what he's made off for the go. I don't like international friendlies they are totally useless. The only point of them is to get favour from the International community so you can win votes and host tournaments. Under Blatter were not going to host a major Tournament so screw them.
Afternoon pal, Certainly a mixed variety of talent. I think I'd rather see Morison as he is an out and out centre forward
