Judge yourselves:- http://www.marca.com/2013/02/05/en/football/international_football/1360093833.html Doesn't read that way to me, but maybe I'm being biased. Or maybe the Mirror are twisted, ****-stirring arsewipes. Your choice.
I can understand them drawing that conclusion from statements like "All we need are the results and to finish in the Champions League spots" but they are just **** stirring.
They're also about 2 days late. That's the same interview questions & answers that were in other papers/sites at the start of the week. They've just conveniently left off the part where he says his future is with LFC: sky sports site had the whole thing I think ... Don't get me wrong; there's mixed messages overall but at the end of the day all I care about is his performances this year to start with...if he's here next year then I care about those performances.
My guess is twisted,****-stirring arsewipes. Who cares what the Mirror are saying,as long as we keep on improving the chances of any player staying improves.
Newspapers exist to make money, not to inform ( well, certainly not the sports sections). Any information you might glean is incidental to their primary purpose. " Nothing To Write About" isn't much of a headline and doesn't sell newspapers.
Looking at the decline both sales and readership it doesn't look like any of them are actually very good at even making it up!
Hes leaving his attacking role to take over from Reina when he leaves for Barca.
It is laying down the gauntlet on CL football and progress. But I don't think it means he's off in a few months at all even if/when we don't get CL football. Just that he's not going to wait forever.
If you put yourself in his position though. If Liverpool finish lets say 6th this season and get Europa league next year and then Someone like Bayern Munich comes in and offers him twice as much money, potential to win the league and win the champions league then it would be pretty hard to turn down.
Yep. No paper knows. You better hope Guardiola doesn't have Suarez on his list! or that Suarez is one of the most loyal footballers in the country.
I don't think he'd leave in summer unless Barca or Real Madrid came sniffing. And that's no different than any other player at any other club. If one of those two want you'd drop Chelsea, City or United like a stone and steal a pen from a baby to sign.
He only signed a new 'long term' contract at the beginning of this season, so LFC have the upper hand in if he leaves or not, but he wouldn't have been so quick to sign the new deal just 20 weeks ago if he wanted out.
the only way I could see him going is if Bayern, Real Madrid or Barcelona came in with interest. Which (I assume) wasn't really in his head 6 months ago when he signed the contract.
And what if FSG aren't prepared to sell him? Would it be down to what Bayern, Real or Barca want, what the player wants or what LFC/FSG want?
Only if the owners are weak shogs, he'd either leave on our terms with our blessing or he wouldn't leave at all. Of course it could backfire he his head was turned and we refused to let him go, we only have to look at the sulky useless twat Torres became in his last season with us.
Yeah you don't want someone like Suarez or on Suarez money rotting in the reserves either (Chelsea have had Malouda on 100k training with the youth players all season )
