I remember when these comparisons would come up from united fans between Cesc and Anderson. Now it's Walcott vs Welbeck. I like Welbeck. As Shwan said he has a terrific work rate. To answer the question posed by the OP currently Walcott is better than Welbeck. Welbeck will improve but so will Walcott.

Walcott played twice as much in the league and he is 1.5 years older .. so welbeck have more space for improvement

Totally agree Walcott is better and offers more. I think even in a few years he will be better. Same with wilshere vs cleverly.. Wilshere is just that bit better.

Now compare RVP vs Welbeck at age 22... There's no two ways around the fact that Andy Carroll has a better goalscoring record this season. Welbeck is a decent player and can link up very well, but you're making a fool of yourself if you really think he's a good goalscorer.
