Couple of pages ago I wasn't allowed to compare Liverpool with United lol?? As for the rep whore buffoon Astronauturf he slags Antifootball City he calls Stoke off all the time and Is Wumming comparing them to Everton...Mind can they be as bad as he says they out footballed you 3-1 at their ground and took a point off you at Anfield?
You lot have come on well the last few months fairplay but the trouble Is LFC fans already think their being managed by the Irish Guardiola after a few good displays lol

I can confidently say that the Utd / LFC banter thread took a long time to descend into this level of BS, and when it did it was almost entirely driven by KPR. You guys got some issues to work out here... <ok>

That's all just history mate. In the last 5 years Stoke have achieved just as much as Everton. All Everton have done is finished a few places higher, but you would expect at least that much from them since they have had Premier League money for so much longer. <ok>

A kopite preaching about quoting history? <laugh> whatever next......

Stoke have spent £75M net in the last 5 years lad, compared to our minus £12M in the same period, so they should have achieved more than merely PL survival.

As it is they've finished between 10th & 14th, compared to our 5th to 8th.

There's no comparison between a club like Stoke & Everton in terms of size, stature & history.

    Comparable. <ok>

Given all your history and the fact that you have been in the Premier League longer, whereas Stoke have had to fight for promotion, it doesn't mean much that you got more money selling your Premier League players than Stoke got selling their Championship players.

I would normally reply along the lines of "you silly boy" but in your case complete ****ing idiot is more applicable. It was you who stated that Everton were successful purely for their longevity 'in the top flight'. My contention was that there were teams more successful than Everton who proved that statement not to be completely true. I gave you 2 examples - neither of which were LFC.!

So, given that you are limited when it comes to comprehension, I still await your acceptance of the challenge.

No that's a ridiculous comaprison as for 3 of those years Stoke were a Championship club.

In the last 5 years they've spent £88m over which £80m is net. Which is £25m gross & £92m net, more than we have.

They became a stable PL side, which is a credit to them, however now their fans are questioning the spend levels compared to the achievements, plus the style of play, which after £80m net, is still alehouse.

You really are a total plank.

I stated our top flight history in reply to the comment that compared us to Stoke ffs! Get it? STOKE? STTTOOOKKKKKE. Try ****ing reading it & THE CONTEXT (google it) of the comment.

Our top flight longevity & overall pot history makes any comparison with a club like Stoke ridiculous. They've never won the top division nor the FA Cup, they're a nothing club compared to Everton.

p.s. Have you found that Spurs / Arsenal joint statement yet? <laugh> Land ahoy.

You are not only stupid but you are arrogant as well. I couldn't give a flying fig about how you wish to limit the context. I never mentioned Stoke. I never mentioned Liverpool but I'm not surprised that a stupid bitter like you can't even understand that!

As for the Spurs/Arsenal joint statement. Take your head out of your arse. I made the comment and quoted Page's tounge in cheek together. If you can't see the irony in that you should have paid more attention in your English clashes at school - but from your efforts so far it would appear that you didn't attend very often!

Yes in those 3 years Stoke were building a team to come 2nd in the Championship, whereas Everton were spending £53m (£40m net) to improve on their 11th place finish. So? You've still won just as much as them but now you want to be recognised with a 5th place cup?

I'm limiting the context to what I actually ****ing meant & what I meant was in relation to Stoke. The fact that you leapt in & wanted to use other clubs to somehow 'prove a point' shows that you hadn't grapsed what I'd actually posted in context. So you made yourself look a prize tit (yet again) by trying to chuck in United & Chelsea, who had no relevance to my actual post.

As for your 2nd paragraph, just lol. Not only is it bollocks (as you didn't make that post with a hint of irony imo) but the real IRONY is in the sentence I've highlighted <laugh>

    Keep 'em coming <laugh>

Stoke spent **** all trying to get promoted, as they fluked it via the playoffs, in fact their net spend was negative every year.

If you want to get into net spend Moyes has spent £10M in a decade, want to compare it to your lot? Thought not. I'm leaving this here, as it's boring a ****, your original comment was a glib jibe & if you genuinely believe it, then you shouldn't be posting on a football forum.

Where did you get £40m net from? I added it up at around £25m excluding 1 undisclosed coming in and 4 undisclosed going out.

I'll have to give you the spelling mistake Does make it funny <laugh>

Then if you wished to limit your comments to the comparison to Stoke, YOU should have said so. I picked up on what you ACTUALLY posted and proved it to be wrong. So the only tit/arse/dickhead/whatever is YOU

If you can't see the irony in a quasi factual response to a humorous statement then God help you.

The fact that my comment was made in a reply to a poster comparing Everton to Stoke & I quoted it, should have maybe given you a clue, hence my comment about CONTEXT, after your first post, but you just ploughed on, like some rambling auld dope. <laugh>

Quasi factual - nice vocab Dave. Still doesn't alter the fact that I don't believe you, as you've got form for wading in & posting something stupid <whistle>

    Peace out.

I couldn't give a **** what you believe. Your still wrong, longevity is not a criteria for success either in terms of silverware or income.
