Aaaaahh, the good ol' fat sikhs, can't beat 'em <ok>
...the simple truth to that though, is that Manchester United have a WORLDWIDE prestige.

The prestige of Leeds United struggles to by-pass the A61 however <cheers>

Worldwide prestige? No, Real Madrid have worldwide prestige, something they had looooong before Sky got involved. Before Sky set up the Prem to the benefit of ManUre, "your" club was nothing. No title for fully 25 years!! Says it all. Leeds are the last winners of the PROPER First Division title when teams at least COMPETED with each other. All that's happened is Sky have marketed ManUre around the world to get lots of TV money, they don't give a toss about the clubs in England. Now here's a curve ball fir you - ManUre haven't got a chance in hell of paying back their £800m debt, so what will FIFA/UEFA do when their debt rules kick in? They issued another warning yesterday, would be hilarious if ManUre were unable to play in the Chumps Lge until their debt was wiped out.

That's down to the parents. All my son's are Leeds United and now they are passing it down to my grandkids. That's the difference between a glory hunter and loyal supporter. I also brought them over as kids from Dublin to get it into their blood.

Hey Irish, long time no write. I agree with the parents point. When my lad was eight he came home from school and asked for a Beckham shirt!! This after he'd been to Elland Road plenty, and away games at places like Spurs (George Graham's last game, what an atmosphere). I told him no problem, he'd have one when he got home from school next day. He was all made up b'cos all the kids at school were Scum, Blue Scum, Arsenal or Spurs. When he got home next day there were two suitcases outside the front door, and to his dismay his room was bare. He asked what was going on? I told him his Beckham shirt was in one of the suitcases, so all he had to do was take his belongings and head off into the sunset, because no son of mine would ever be a Scum supporter, and no Scum shirt would EVER be found in my house. **** man, the colour red us banned completely!!! He took one look at the suitcases, hauled them upstairs and never mentioned the episode again. To this day he is a proud Leeds supporter, wears his Leeds bobble hat on stage at gigs (mean guitarist) and hates Scum and Blue Scum with a passion - oh and Arsenhole and Spuds as well. So, it can be done :)

Same here lads. My three daughters all Leeds fans. To different levels and none as fanatical as me thank God, but all due to them all being to Elland road at various times and wembley play off final. It's up to parents to show the way first

Surely the reality is you ARE back?

Which ever version of Leeds you choose to ascribe to, the modern and the old United have spent the bulk of their time in this league or below haven't they?

Manchester united have had world wide support since the Munich Air crash ...it went higher in the days of George best and Bobby charlton.. To say it's only been since the premier league shows you know Nothing about Football or your far to young to know the truth..

And NO I do not support Man Utd.
