An shambles I laid the facts out...Moyes hasn't won a trophy. Money was thrown around as an excuse for that. You can't keep throwing it around as an excuse because it doesn't add up. Simple fact for you (as you'll have forgotten what it's like) any trip to Wembley is a great day out for a fan. Saying "Mickey Mouse" is the last refuge of the loser so no surprise coming from a blue As Tobes said before it's a mystery as to why Moyes doesn't take it more seriously. ....I've actually tried to avoid the trophy listing as we all know it's too easy...but if you really want to go there....let's compare "real" trophies.
Wiki. You missed my point, its only a Mickey Mouse cup when you cant or don't win it, so it was Mickey Mouse when you got to the final but not when we won it. But it's not me calling it Mickey Mouse on the thread anyway shogs.
Of course I'm not quoting one of the most famous information websites on the Internet, that would be foolish. here's another though http://the4thofficial.co.uk/2012/02/27/exploding-the-mickey-mouse-myth/ Feel free to post links to anything which suggests otherwise to the above.
I'm not missing your point, it's just ironic coming from a Liverpool fan And I weren't calling it a Mickey mouse cup either. Though I wouldn't want to end our draught by winning that competition.
So why not ask him why he thinks it's Mickey Mouse?, if EFC get to the final next season will all the tickets be sold?, will the fans want their club to win it and celebrate if they do? Told you shogs its only teams that don't reach the final that belittle the competition.
Ok you can't keep throwing money around as an excuse so In league terms why Is It the great Liverpool have not won It since 89? A full massive 2 years later than little old Everton won It remember Money Is no excuse mind... Astronauturf replied earlier you can't keep up with United because of money? So why Is money not relevant when comparing Everton to Liverpool? Would Chelsea and Man C be where they are now without the Russian and Oil man? Like I said earlier It's the easiest thing In the world to say money doesn't matter when you have It... Truth Is the amount you lot have gone through you should be at the top of the tree now...
Could be because every Liverpool manager since 89 wasn't good enough, the heart being ripped out of the players from the events of the 15th of April that year could be a factor, other teams improving while we held onto some players to long, us preferring to do things the 'bootroom' way while other clubs modernised could be a factor, multiple ****e signings, mark robbins goal saving fergie from getting sacked etc etc Just saying like jotl.
I agree. But I've never said any different. However, If we did win it then I'm sure Liverpool fans would be the first to spout the Mickey Mouse stuff. The fact that Bradford are in the final this year does fairly devalue it of much credit. I really want us to win a trophy but I can't say I want it to be thAt one.
Must say though If Mark Robins didn't score (Against Bury wasn't It?) I wonder what would have happened??
I actually weren't that disappointed to be honest, apart from the instant annoyance after any loss I quickly got over it. Although I mostly stopped caring about the competition this year when they changed the name. I don't really want us to hold the COC
