Plus, they might just be on a break or something. One of my friends seemed to go through a rough patch with their gf and stopped being Facebook official, but she never changed status to single.

 

Noticed you talked about being friend zoned the other day. In which case, try not to be the shoulder to cry on for this girl right now. Sounds insensitive but it's firmly kicking open the "like a brother to me" door.

 

But to this girl, you may end up being the best thing since sliced bread, PL. Don't play games. Be human. Games are for kids.

 

Yeah, do this, then come back and complain about being friendzoned and about how girls don't like nice guys and don't see what's right in front of them etc etc etc.

If you want to dismiss it as "childish games" for the sake of simplicity go ahead, but the term "basic human psychology" applies just the same. Or, you may get lucky and find the one girl in a thousand that froths for the "here at your beck and call" guy.

In minorly related girl news, I've just found out I've been playing it far too cool with a certain lady friend.

I did save it though, and now it looks like something could be happening sooner rather than later.

PL for goodness sake.......If she has gone on face book she has made it very public they have broken up.......As you say she could be at what I used to say was a half way stage and yes they could get back together. How ever if you were to casually say that you saw she had broken up with her boyfriend.....ask her if she would like to drown her sorrows...no strings attached and see if she would go out. If she accepts don't push it just go out as friends then if the night goes ok and you think you have got on ask for another date. If you try and get into her knickers on that first date you may be lucky but there probably won't be another chance....So slowly slowly catchee monkey and all that and you never know.....but strike early...leave it at your peril.......Now there's some advice I gave my son some 15 years ago....He has been married now to the girl in question coming up 10 years and have two lovely daughters.....It might work for you but it wont if you don't try!!
