http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-only-signed-robin-1557087 That's interesting, and well done to the manager for asking them, you never know, they could've said no but they didn't, like i've said on here many times, i'm glad we've got him.
something no one in city or Chelsea will do .. they think they can win trophies by adding top stars over top stars without looking how it will effect team balance and big egos inside the team
Jones could be out for 2-4 weeks after getting SHINGLES. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...doubt-for-Man-Utd-after-getting-shingles.html carrick is out too with ankle injury (hope is not serious .. hope is just the club declaring him injured to not play in mid week for england, he was playing every games in past games tbh and definitely he will not need to be involved in such an unnecessary friendly ) but if he is injured, that will leave leave us short in mid and defensive mid area
ROBIN VAN PERSIE admits he likes to whistle while he works because he has settled in so quickly to life at Manchester United. The Dutch striker has hit the right notes ever since he arrived at Old Trafford in the summer and has already bagged 22 goals for the Premier League leaders. RVP says he has felt in tune with his new team-mates and surroundings ever since he made the controversial £22million switch from Arsenal. He said: âItâs gone as well as Iâve expected it to go. âI go into work every day whistling â as from the first day theyâve made me feel welcome. âThe boys made me feel right at home. Training is really good and I see things Iâve not seen in a long time. âIt is a very pleasant environment to work in. âEvery day I work on new things. I have become alert to small details that make me better.â As yet, there have been no sign of the injuries which wrecked so many of his seasons with the Gunners and he feels in great shape going into the final third of the season. That is bad news for reigning champions Manchester City, who are nine points adrift of their local rivals. Van Persie, 29, added: âThis run of games without getting injured has only made me stronger. âBut I donât want to talk about it, touch wood. I feel better and fitter. Really fit. âIn the last week I played Wednesday and Saturday. âIn those games I played with ease. I feel fit and recover quickly as lightning.â United face Jose Mourinhoâs Real Madrid away next Wednesday in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash. RVP said: âThe match against Madrid is the icing on the cake for every footballer. âIt will be my first game at the Bernabeu â and Iâm really looking forward to it. âIt will be a very nice challenge with the group of players we have. âManchester United are a big club and being in the last 16 is already beautiful even without the prospect of playing Real Madrid.â Dutch ace RVP says his clinical scoring exploits this season are partly thanks to compatriot Rene Meulensteen. He feels the United first-team coach has helped him big time thanks to his innovative training methods and meticulous planning. RVP added: âThe way he trains is refreshing. He is truly one of the best coaches in the world. âIâve had a lot of good trainers, but itâs the way he prepares our team for games. âEvery match is different so every training session in build-up is unique. âWe know exactly what to expect. He wins points for us through his training. âWeâve won a lot of games by the odd goal â they are point winners. âConsider the game against Chelsea. I scored after a low cross from Antonio Valencia on the right. âIt might seem like a fluke, but the whole week before the game was spent working on that move. âAnother example is my goal against Wigan when I cut the ball inside and shot with my right foot â again this was a situation we trained on.â Van Persie is in the Holland squad for tonightâs friendly with Italy at the Amsterdam ArenA. He could line-up alongside Swanseaâs Jonathan de Guzman who is set to win his first cap. De Guzman said: âThe call-up is a bonus. Iâve only just joined the team â now I have to show what I can do.â The match could see RVP and Mario Balotelli come face-to-face again. Balotelli scored twice for Milan against Udinese on his debut at the weekend after his switch from Manchester City last week. £20,000 on champagne.. ****ing ****s footballers. No wonder I getting to the point where I literally hate them all.
they all are married or have a GF is that how we prepare for a tough week? typical of footballers, isn't?
I've seen the highlights of Japan's game against Latvia, he produced a man of the match performance and provided 2 assists as well, i rememeber watching soccer saturday a couple of weeks ago and Charlie Nicholas said '' I've been disappointed by him '', don't forget he's been out for a couple of months with an injury, he's slowly getting back to the form of his first few months with us, he's going to be a top quality player for us, he's only 23 years old, i can see him playing an important part in getting our title back in the coming months. I think our fans don't appreciate him enough, i remember his first game back in the fa cup 3rd round against West ham and the reaction was over the top saying stuff like '' he's ****'', he only returned from injury that time, he was going to take time to settle to the premier league and our style of play as well, i bet you our players enjoy playing with him, he reminds me a bit of Silva at City, i rate Kagawa i think he's going to help us win at least 1 trophy this season.
Well this is the appropriate thread for you article, so not sure what the problem is. Others have said it before, but you don't need to make threads on everything that comes in to your mind.
there is no doubt about his quality , but his problem is that he is been pushed to easily in PL , he need to get stronger
Oscar is even more lightweight than Kagawa and he seems to cope with the 'physicality' of the premier league.
Au contraire, I'd say Oscar being a lightweight is the main reason he has been so much more effective in the CL than the PL, despite Chelsea flopping so miserably in Europe. He started out well but has struggled a lot in recent weeks (possibly the Rafa effect) and has definitely been a long way behind Hazard and Mata in the PL,
Bebe scored a good goal yesterday, his 2nd since he moved on loan to 5th place Rio Ave in January.. hope he will have a good form so we can sell him fast and cut our loss
