Just another excuse to parade something around on our open top bus The only omnibus you lot get to see these days is Eastenders on a sunday
It's not so hilarious a case could be made that false statements could contravene section 463 of the Companies Act 2006. Additionally we do not know the full details of the requirements placed upon the Everton directors by their bankers.
What false statements? Stick to polishing your boots & ironing those bell ends, sorry I mean bottoms, petty officer Dave, as you're way out of your depth here pal
IOD - don't make me laugh! Now office clerk think about what you have just said. It's not speculation you can find many statements from the club stating that they are actively looking for buyers. To then conceal a an agreement not to sell the club can minimally be construed as misleading.
Just another 3 months left until Bitters born when Everton last won a trophy can legally drink away their sorrows.
Actually we were agreeing anyway mate JOTL just can't read very well. Money does matter and in league terms it obviously can make a massive difference. My argument was simply that not having as much money isn't a barrier to winning trophies. Swansea and Bradford being the example that all 3 blues seem to be ignoring (unsurprisingly).
I wasn't trying to make you laugh you bone head, I run a company iarger than your biggest boat ride crew pet As for your laughable theory, there is **** all illegal about saying you're looking to sell & then ensuring that any potential suitors sign a confidentiality agreement & don't publicise the fact that your equity value is noddy Please continue
haha nice avoidance of the actual facts laid out for you to contemplate. As by trophies you really mean A TROPHY ie the Mickey Mouse ie the one the big lads can't be arsed with
You really do make me laugh. It wouldn't be hard to run a company larger than my biggest ever crew - my local chippy employs more people than that! You really should THINK before you make such comments. You have absolutely no idea what the level of my qualifications are or the level or extent of my experience. You are however demonstrating the paupacy of British management when it comes to analysis. Nobody even mentioned confidentiality clauses until you desperately need to cling to it!
The following teams have also made cup finals since Everton last won something: Stoke, Portsmouth, Cardiff, West Ham, Millwall, Southampton, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Middlesborough, Birmingham, Tottenham, Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Leicester, Tranmere, Leeds, plus of course Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool
Domestic cups are only seen as Mickey Mouse by clubs that don't or cant win them Tobes. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
you make it sound like The league cup is easy to win. 12-13 : Knocked out by Leeds 3rd round 11-12 : Knocked out by Chelsea 4th round 10-11 : Knocked out by Brentford 3rd round 03-04 : Knocked out by Middlesbrough on penalties 4th round (eventual winners) In Moyes' tenure at least, the cup has only been won by a non champions league on four occasions. the years I've put above. There's only two years where I think Moyes potentially cost us from actually winning it looking back (including this year). 03-04, Middlesbrough finished higher than us anyway. And obviously Chelsea were always favourites.
You missed Everton off the list Page, wasn't it your lot that coined the Micky mouse cup phrase back in the eighties?
Not to my knowledge shogs, we actually won it 4 times in the 80s, it was your crowd that coined the phrase after the 84 replay at Maine Rd.
Only according to the person who wrote the piece for wikipedia. Sorry to disillusion you but its not all right you know!
