Kuyt was bought to be a striker, then it didn't really work out but he adapted his game. It took crouchie awhile but he came up with some big goals ( stunning goals at that too), Babel was awesome his first year then I think got a bit of that Rafa cold shoulder and that was him done. Bellamy was useful but again not the star. Voronin the less said the better. babel was a head scratcher, started so well and then just fell the **** off, could have been so good for us but decided not to try and improve his game all the time. I think Skrtel did well but when we had Arbeloa/Finnan-Carra/Skrtel-Hyypia/Agger-Riise/Aurelio we were really tight and strong in the back. Not so much these days.
Who's wailing about it? (we leave that to the experts in that field ) We've merely been stating facts, no-one said it was "unfair", it's just how it is at present. I'd love to know you expect the fanbase to put the club in a position where it is an atrractive proposition. If you had a clue about the subject, you'd know that EFC hasn't been moved on because it's current owners have not sold it, despite significant interest in recent years. Which means that either a) they have no real interest in actually selling it or b ) the asking price is too high.
Your not above applying insulting or abuse terms towards Liverpool so you can come off the why are you insulting me kick. As you well know the term Bitter is commonly applied by Liverpool supporters towards those foolish enough to give their loyalty to Everton FC. It's not as if I've used a term that is unknown to you. If you care to look at the title of this thread you'll find the word BANTER in there. Now I have not insulted you personally. I have forwarded remarks about your club which you can either comment on in a similar vein or ignore at your will. If you feel insulted then that your problem and not mine. As for Toblerone Boots you really should avail yourself of all of the facts before passing such judgements. All your little rant has actually achieved is to demonstrate that the term BITTER may in fact apply to you. After all you are the one to pick a fight where none was actually provoked!
I hate to tell you but it has been publicly stated that your management wish to sell the club. Therefore if your option (a) were true then they would in fact be breaking the law in relation to the Companies Act.
Nice answer to try and avoid the questian.... Compare the mighty Liverpool to the Manchester clubs then like I said fire away I just have to hear It...Or did you avoid It because you are uncomparable?
We are really. When you compare the trophies we have won against the trophies Manchester City have won then we outclass them in every department.
Quite sad that in a Liverpool-Everton banter thread you have nothing to support your own club so resort to asking about Manchester clubs. That's even more pathetic than "my dad is bigger than your dad" , it's "someone else's dad is bigger than yours". Man City and Man Utd both have more expensive players than us and so in the league this shows with their greater consistency. Aside from the odd footnotes of history, we outperform Everton for the same reason. We also have a great record in cup competitions that is historically the best and more recently comparable to the best teams in the league.
"someone else's dad is bigger than yours". Someone translate that into Latin and put it under a picture of Rupert's Tower.
That's just where I was getting at all of a sudden when you compare yourself to Man Utd money DOES matter whereas a page ago LFC fans were saying It was not all about money whilst comparing Liverpool to Everton... I knew I'd get the using Man Utd In a debate on a Liverpool Everton thread that was predictable but.... I was just waiting for that reply that's all didn't take long to come out did It? MONEY DOES MATTER....But not obviously when comparing Liverpool and Everton lol Just Man Utd and Liverpool ha ha
haha that's hilarious, pray tell, which exact aspect of the companies act has been broken by their actions, as I must have missed that particular piece of legislation when I passed my IOD exams.
