Maybe they should have put that in his contract then.

Not sure if this thread is a wind up or not.

    Signed contract = pay out.

    His failure is irrelevant.

Yes, we, the common folk get shafted.

    C'est la vie.

The big PL payout next year will solve all our ails.

Mr Richard "I know everything " Keys has to hinting most days on talk sport about this, saying its a disgrace. However, it's not uncommon for clubs to continue paying the contract over its specified term so if that welsh person ever gets another job then the club can stop paying. As far as I'm aware that's entirely legal and rather clever.

Termination payment spread over contract term would seem to be the way to go loomo. I'm no contract lawyer or CFO, but spreading his £4.5m out over the term would help the Rs cash flow. Depends on what the fine print says.

I know and he can go **** himself if he expects all the money now so hes free to destroy another club. Keeping him out of work for another 2.5 years is the least we can do for the footballing world.

So why should we pay it all now? If he wants hit now, then he can accept £3m and be free to join another club and more than make up for the £1.5m over the next 2 years or he can never get another job in football.

He may have a case as TF is on record as saying he would have kept him on longer but for Redknapp being available. The fact he was as much use as a one-legged man at an arse-kicking contest is irrelevant...

You also need to sack the bloke who gave him the contract.

He did publicly say wed never be in the relegation position again under his command, Id love for the club to use that against him citing false promises as a reason to cancel the contract.

I know, taking too long to sack him has already cost us PL status, 2 points from the Villa, Saints and Reading home games will kill us. If we got 7 points then wed be out of the bottom 3 as wed have had 5 more points while taking more points away from them.
