According to The Source Footy on twitter. ' Remy injury not as bad as first thought. Out for four weeks. ' I think this bloke works within the club. ( Not any of you lot on here is it? ) If this is correct then he will only miss two games.
I hope it's right too. Of course, I agree we should await the official confirmation. But this bloke is normally spot on with his information.
Bring on the snow, floods and unplayable pitches. Even if it's only 4(!) weeks, how long until he's on top form?
Knowing from personal experience and being operated on by the same surgeon that performed this procedure on Shearer, Dixon and many others, if this is indeed an adductor muscle injury then it´s diagnosis is a gradual increase in pain and immobility which may take weeks to become noticed, you can even play football with this injury but of course the more you play the less time you will eventually have on the pitch as the injury becomes increasingly aggravated. What I am trying to say in a round about way is that this injury doesn´t just occur in an instant, which by all reports is what happened to Remy whilst taking a shot??. He may need surgery for a full recovery but you can play for a limited time. Convalescence is around 8 weeks for us mere mortals - lots of boring physiotherpy but worth it. I´m still playing now and I am baby of the coldest winter in the last 100 years!!!. Get well soon Remy. BTW after surgery you cannot even laugh because of the pain -so no watching videos of this season´s goal attempts!!.
Same guy who insisted until official that m'vila was done and dusted to us! Four weeks wouldn't be the end of the world though, reasonably good news if right!
I suppose its all relative. If we somehow beat the swans this weekend all will be fine and we are not expected to get anything out of the Utd game anyway(I think we will though). However, if we don't pick up points this weekend, Remys injury will be one of the main reasons why. Up to the rest of the team now to step up to the plate.
I think its time for this:
If 'only' 4 weeks, I had us down to lose those to Swans and Man U anyway. So very typical of QPR's misfortune this season.
Appreciate Madrid's educated point above. Won't be holding my breath tbh. Reminiscent of Cisse absences last term. Just another kind of 2 x 4 week bans! Hoping Zamora takes this as his opportunity to take the situation by the scruff of its neck and leave us in no doubt of his worth. Samba's experience and knack for goal scoring could add some oomph too...
by the same surgeon that performed this procedure on Shearer, Ah ha there is your answer viewers ... so when we have our 100 metres you have a weakness I can see your legs exploding. Let's up it to 5K as i am very confident now in fact i may run from London to Madrid I do 50k a week on the bike and my hams are ready for action ... I have a few charity games coming up again soon ... I wish he had a not 606 match I would love it
The names of my nan and grandad were Pearl & Dean. They were the parents of my Pa pa pa pa pa pa pa pa pa pa. TAXI !!!!!
That Sir is a fantastic idea. A not606 football team and league. Who would you like to play against? First up for me would be that Geordie mob.
