Never played the first but played the 2nd, basically think Skyrim but with a far better story line and fight mechanics. The first paragraph of the wiki for the first game explains it well.

it's been reported that Pompey have claimed they were driving Chris Huhne's car and have asked for the 3 points

Meanwhile, in a late development from Fratton Park, I understand Guy Whittingham has taken the players for a visit to the dockyard so they can see for themselves what Victory looks like.

If it's better than Skyrim then I need to get it immediately. That was a spectacular game.

It's not open world but from the article I posted the 3rd one will be, but if you like Skyrim you will like The Witcher. The graphics even on the consoles are great as well. Skyrim for me was a 8.5/10, were as for me The Witcher 2 was more like a 9/10.

I never got into Skyrim really, I could see it was a good game but I don't have enough time to play it.

On another note, has anyone else watched The Wire yet? I really couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Lowe it, the open world thing was easily the best bit of Skyrim. I really, really loved that game. I've played loads like it (well, not really loads, Oblivion and Fallout games, and a couple others) but Skyrim was my favourite. Just adored it.

It's on my "to watch" list (meaning I've downloaded every episode), on Game of Thrones right now.

Speaking of which, just finished series one of that. Still love it. Still love Daenerys.

There are just a couple of things I wish they'd have done with Skyrim and hope they do for the next one. It could do with a hardcore mode like New Vegas, and I'd like to try it without the option of fast travel. It makes it too easy and you don't get to fully appreciate the scale of the map. Just the wagons that take you between the major cities would be enough, in my opinion. Also the AI could be a lot better - I don't like how people just run around all gung-ho in battle. I reckon if enemies tried to take cover and approach battles strategically, it'd be more fun than just running at them mashing buttons.

So much backlogged TV I need to illegally download. :(

And Skyrim too, played the hell out of that for about 5 days straight, loved it but haven't played it since.

Dunno how many spoilers I should go into, for if anyone in here wants to watch it in the future.

Idea, here: Don't click below to avoid Game of Thrones series 1 spoilers.
