Yesterday... and youngsters

I'm not saying that Kurl would have saved it
BUT after coming out and missing the ball it's a goal anytime!
As i've said
Keepers are judged on mistakes because they are in a position where it is most costly!
He made a mistake (others may have too)
and they scored, it's what happens as a goalkeeper!
He has talent
He's a big lad and has made some cracking saves (WBA away last year the biggest game in ages for us)

 

That's the 3rd mistake he's made this season that has led to a goal, but i'm surprised there hasn't been more! Takes too long with his kicking, the amount of times he's been closed down and could have cost a goal is ridiculous. Makes too many mistakes for a first choice keeper, 2nd choice keeper yes! first choice no chance.
Also to give him an 8 is ridiculous, he was the worst player on the pitch for us, he had nothing to do to be fair to him but when he did do anything except a few simple catches he was terrible! ran out of his area and got knocked over (can't remember who by) he shouldn't be in those sort of positions, if he comes out for it he needs to clear it!

 

Could be worse, we could have Kuszack
