If Remy was having a groin scan on Sunday, or Monday latest, the results would be known within an hour. If I was management, I'd want to allay fans concerns asap. So Tuesday afternoon and still no word on the results of the all important scan. It can't be good news. Can it?
A groin injury can be a real pain.It was for me and I just play a bit of tennis, let alone a top striker, who relies on speed and power!. Even a strain can be weeks and even then it can pull again if rushed back. Lets see
Only way it can be good news is if Harry doesn't want Swansea to know if Remy is injured or not. Doesn't look good though We only have two games in the next month so if he's back in 4-6 weeks we might be ok. One being United which we probably won't get anything from either way.
Letting DJ out on loan with this hanging over us is madness. I'm not a huge fan of his but having named him in the 25, and with so little fit strikers, seems dumb to let him go.
no news could be good news. A definite tear in the muscle would be quite easy to identify. Perhaps there is little sign of anything on the initial scans but they player is clearly in discomfort. A strain or a pull might take a bit longer to diagnose. Im no doctor but i've had plenty of football injuries and I was usually away from the docs with a diagnosis quicker on the more serious and obvious ones. and letting DJ go is ridiculous
