It is brilliant, although i'm hardly qualified to comment or join your group.

I honestly haven't watched any since I was a kid.
Me and my brother used to watch L&H quite a bit...

...trouble being that Clint Eastwood turned up, not literally, but turned up all the same.

L & H are comedy gods, and should be a staple of tv viewing pleasure.
My two faves are the shorts "Them Thar Hills", and the follow up "Tit For Tat", slapstick at it's absolute best.
    Anyone who doesn't like them is obviously a **** and a *****. <ok>

And i am fortunate to be able to boast that i have everything they did that has survived.

Can't recall the name of the movie where Stan and Ollie are in the trenches in WW1. Everyone goes over the top apart from Stan who is left guarding the trench for 20 years. Absolutely brilliant.

Know the one you mean but also can't remember title.

Stan in the trench on his own with a massive pile of empty beans cans piled up beside him.

Also, the blonde in it was gorgeous. Have a bit of a thing for the Hollywood babes of the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.

Class that was and just shows how good the writing was when you consider that the Japanese did it for real 10/15yrs later!

Jean Arthur in Mr Smith Goes to Washington - sexy as hell.

Cracking film too. One of my favourites.

Another one of the duo's early silent classics is "Putting Pants On Phillip".
It's so simple, but has you rolling around in stitches, if you haven't seen this one (i don't ever remember seeing it on the tv), then do, you won't regret it.

    Only a clip unfortunately.
