Being serious though it couldn't carry on. I know you haven't looked at the Liverpool board FFS but my name came up in conversation straight away I think I've got a bit of notoriety on that board. The funny thing is that I haven't even got anything against them just those two pricks they've got as mods. One of their mods Gerrez seems to be a decent fella to be fair. I think someone should tell them it's QPR I don't like

Doesn't WUM imply some deliberate act of annoying other people? I think Dai genuinely believes what he says/thinks is correct.

 

I don't agree with banning Dai.

His posts were all football based. Whether he believes the opinions expressed in them or not is irrelevant to me.
You can either agree, disagree or ignore.
I disagreed with everything he stated in the thread he started earlier, he doesn't annoy me in the slightest though.

Dai is one of the posters who make this place interesting, his posts inspire some humour at the very least

 

Dai is not a Liverpool fan, far from it. I disagree with half the crap he sprouts but as mentioned its football related. He can be insulting at times so if you dont like it use the iggy button, not rocket science. i hope he isnt banned as i dont think he intentionally wums like JH etc

 

Musty, have a look at the Danny Graham thread. On page 8 Ash gives Dai a warning and his response is to be rude. Mods can't have anyone on ignore as you know and Dai with the reply he have to Ash brought it upon himself.

Ash asked for a 24hr ban for things to cool off. I just really hope he learns from this. You can't tell a mod to Fcuk off and not expect some sort of action

 

In the slammer he is though, for 24 hours. As long as he stays out of the showers he will be fine. Oh, and ignore the insessant screams from JH. Oh, and not touch the food. Jeez, I'm getting flashbacks thinking about it.

The mods did what they could and he ignored them. He pushed them into a corner really, and I honestly believe they use even a temp ban as a last resort.

Tomorrow, if he wants, he will be back. He will have done the time, so I hope WE all are able to move on. As long as the continual derailments without any justification and insults do not reappear, I will not bring this up with him and will welcome back someone who has been a regular and important (if controversial),Swans contributer on this and 606.

Its a temporary 24 hour ban, that's all.

I warned him, he didn't take notice. His posts were football related, but they were disruptive. When one poster makes 10 posters angry, something must be done.

He'll be back later tonight and hopefully he'll understand to change the way he speaks to people.

 

Don't lose any sleep Ash what you did was right, it's a pity that it came to this and that's not your fault either.

I hope too that Dai curbs the way he speaks to people. If he doesn't learn from a temp ban then he never will

 

Here here. Good decision from the mods. This forum has become unreadable of late. Musty & terror are right in that he does post about football, but it's his constant derailing of topics that has p1ssed everyone off I think. I had him on ignore, but that doesn't mean that I didn't have to read through the pages of arguments he keeps creating just to get back to the thread's topic (if it still existed after his interjection)

The "Just have him on Ignore" argument only holds water if every single poster here has him on ignore and doesn't reply to anything he posts...in which case you may as well ban him.

We have some intelligent and amusing posters on this forum so the "keep him for a laugh" suggestion also falls down in my eyes.

Anyway, for me it's more the condescending and aggressive attitude and subsequent arguments that have contributed to a sour feeling on here for the last few months. Good decision, hopefully the 24 hours will give him the chance to rethink the way he treats his fellow Jacks.

You are now banning long standing swansea posters for having an opinion on football related issues. Please think about your actions when pressuring your mods for bans. Every other board must be laughing at your behaviour. Stop taking all this **** so seriously for goodness sake.
