Well........now it appears that Remy will be out for 2 ****ing months, let's hope Mackie is better than some of us think!!
I really hope so. But I don't believe he'll out for 2 months. I'll wait for an official confirmation.
Explain what part you thought was ****, and i'll give you the courtesy of telling you your wrong and then explain why. Regards
Only read the first 2 pages and cant be bothered with this People slating a player who, although he isnt good enough, always tries his hardest?...fault lies with Harry on this one
The little prick won us the penalty, won us countless frees and was the heart of everything we did. He was out of position but I'd have him over most of the other players every day of the week.
Sigh, effort isn't results. Im sure I can run up and down a field and fall over when tackled. The point is he's got nothing to offer where it matters most - the final third.
Dont agree with the op at all. Mackie may not be the most technical player in the world but he give you 100% every game. Now I knowpeople can argue thats not enough and they would be correct but we are talking about an iinternational footballer here. there are lots of ten a penny players who I consider to be in our team like derry and hill. Mackie could play just about anywhere and not let you down. granted more of a squad player than first choice but someone who is reliable and loyal which are rare traits in todays game.
Sorry mate, worded wrongly. I like mackie but he isnt "technically" good enough. He won a penalty that in all honesty he had no right to get through his non stop chasing. Great grafter, good bloke and cant fault his effort at all, just out of his depth at the moment i think with regards to skill, quality & speed/style of play. Will be a hero again in the NPC if we go down. Was played out of position and it showed. but isnt that where he plays for Scotland? not sure?
Exactly and he doesn't get set off and rarely is injured which are two attributes I wish these multi million stars could share in!
Post wasnt for you. It was for queenslander - sorry using the iPhone app, not the best to post replys with
For me..why? I dont think i disagreed with what you said did I? For what its worth i agree with what Bob just posted. isnt that the same or am i getting confused. Sitting in my office at work so maybe i read it wrong?
Ok, i agree that he isnt good enough but dont think its fair to slate him for it. I dont think he should have been played as a lone striker. Effort is not enough alone and he doesnt have much end product either, but he won the penalty when he really had no right to chase it down. As bob said, he not a first choice player but definatley a useful player to have in the squad. Always give his all and sometimes that can pay off like it did last season. Not sure we had much better options TBF? like i said, Harry's (strange) decision to play him up there alone. He should be the one we are questioning i think.
are we slagging off last seasons second highest goalscorer shame the highest scorer aint here to be bitched about cant believe the **** Jamie is getting here its not his fault he is being played up front on his own if there was anyone better he probably wouldn't be I am glad we have him
