I thoroughly enjoyed that. Every player played well and put in 100% effort throughout. Fantastic. To think Gareth can get performances like that from a team that was rock bottom. He is something else. Really proud of the team tonight.

Just highlighted the ineptitude of Gary Waddock, Scowen through to McClure and goal! 2 players he barely gave a chance to and now 2 of our more important players.

Great performance after weathering early pressure.

He is a good manager with a great future have to say for me I did not enjoy the game as we have big problems at home but your form is brilliant and I wish I was on form like you are. You even wasted a few chances and won the game, that one before the goal could have been costly if you had not scored after that and you could have won this by more than 1 goal with how we played second half.

Hoadie - thanks for the comments - much appreciated.

With regards to the idiot that came on to the pitch - it was clear that he is not a reflection of your supporters given the response given from the crowd that could be clearly heard on the TV coverage.

Good luck for the rest of the season - I'm sure you will land one of the automatic places.

Well played tonight, got a great looking team there... Deserved to win by 3 - 4. You looked like the team in 2nd not us... I still feel you will get a play off place.

good luck for the rest of the season

So proud to be a Wycombe fan after watching the game and my Yeovil supporting mate was well impressed saying we should have won by more. It's hard to understand how far we have come under Garet Ainsworth who deserves all the praise coming his way.Play-offs her we come! <party>

the pleasing thing about this result and the manner in which we got the 3 points is our team has youngsters in it that looked very mature under pressure and bodes very well for next season if we can keep them

Hopefully only if you come up Rocky, think Joe Dunne has cleared out a bit of dead wood and now has something like his own team, Freddie sears is now in the starting line up and looks good. Swindon tomorrow night, tough game.

I thought Gillingham looked the better side early on, with Wycombe failing to manage one attempt on goal, but as the game moved on Wycombe came more and more into it and finished the first half so strongly (71% possession) that I became very hopeful. Very pleased to see Wycombe's defence so in command and the whole team fought to be first to every ball (what a difference that is to a few months ago). The second half continued with Wycombe increasingly gaining in confidence. But for a brilliant display by the Gills goalie we could have had a few more. A couple of nerve racking incidents at the end as the Gills fought for an equaliser. Overall a very pleasing performance from the Blues which lifted me for the rest of the evening; a glow that will last a long time.

I thought at the start it was only a matter of time before we got a goal and with how good our keeper was doing I thought we would hold on but we let you in more and more and people like Morgan and Kuffour done well, Lewis is a top player and I can't believe we let him go years ago when I thought he was good at the time and it is clear he has got better and better. McClure looks a very good player for you and after the miss he made that could have gone to his head but he put one away and that was a great sub.
Sadly we may let this place at the top slip now as I feel that if Port Vale win tonight at Wimbledon this could mean that even though we would have a game in hand physiologically we may have lost it as they will be 4 point clear however if you think about it then it could go the other way.
I am now worried that teams below us could catch up and we will well and truly blow it. 7
Good luck I think play off will still be available for you, keep it up and if you do get into the play offs then that is an amazing turn around.
