So says todays Sun newspaper! They claim its an exclusive! If this happens to be true ( and It might just be, as he's good mates with RA) then I will be breaking open a magnum of the very best champers!
To get The Special One back is going to cost the Russian a mint, not just in terms of what he'll have to pay Mourhino, but also by writing-off the £50 million he blew on Torres. Even for some with Mad Dog's money, that's a lot of out-lay. If the story is true, I'm surprised at Mourhino, as he really does not have to take any risks at CFC. Unless, he's using CFC as a ploy to ensure that Mancini is shown the door at the end of the season, so he can take over at £ity. That job makes more sense for him.
HIAG--A mint? For Roman this is small change! He'll work his magic on Torres as well! He loves Chelsea and his family love doing the Kings Rd. In short--he made for us!
if he does return lets just hope that he gets it straight with roman this time, ie who chooses the signings and the sellings
Not yet. He's openly said he wants to come back to England. He'll manage Portugal when he's older and in semi retirement like all international managers. Only us or City then.
If Jose was left with the choice between MC and Chelsea it would be a no brainer! Its not really a money thing with him any more!
He'll be well paid where ever. My heart says he'd love to come back to finish what he started. He might as well bring Ronaldo with him too!!
Even when Guardiola was still available i was still hoping that Mourinho would return. He just knows how to win games. He knew exactly how to win a game if it was going to be a battle (West Ham, Stoke type games) but at the same time he could set a team up to absolutely dominate them technically. Not only that i was always fascinated by his interviews and his whole style of management. Don't remember watching a Chelsea game with Jose in charge and not being confident about winning. Not sure how reliable The Sun is (probably not very) but until it's 100% confirmed he isn't coming back i'll keep hoping he does.
He aint coming back Drogs. The Sun claiming he is all but guarantees it. I wouldnt be scared either, we all know who runs the show at Chelsea and whoever is manager is just a puppet for him these days. Mourinho will come back to England one day and he will go to any club he chooses. He will have full control and he will be the main man. Cant think of many clubs where he will get that sort of respect and freedom.
Exactly! Why would The Special One go back to a club where he knows he's screwed whether he wins you glory or not? It simply would not make sense. Trying to manage a team for Mad Dog must have been like being a gladiator for Nero, back in Roman times (no pun intended, really). If you're 5hite, you'll get eaten by the lions, and if you're good and get the crowd love you, you'll get feed to lions. Either way, you're screwed and the lions get fed.
HIAG. How very wrong you are about Nero and the gladiators. Gladiators weren't fed to lions, Christians were especially not during the time of Nero. Incidentally very few gladiators died in the arena as they were expensive to train, feed and buy. If you won and depending on how often you won (there were actually referees in there with them) you would be given a fortune and your freedom.
