So, we're down to sloppy seconds now - this known striker issue should have been sorted out in the transfer window and not just before the bell. We needed at least Crouch and/or Odemwingie, because we're going nowhere, other than 0-0 draws without some goals.
I'm not saying I'd like him, I'm just saying that he's a Free Agent and Harry is known to be a fan. I totally agree, we needed to get Odemwingie or preferably Crouch in during the window. We haven't looked like scoring goals all season.
Sensible decission. Was as likely to get a game as Ephraim. Got his two chances under Harry and didn't take 'em. Get rid and save some wages.

Nope, not more than what I've seen on this thread. But I understand he's out for some time. Anyway I can't see it would have helped either DJ or us to keep him as Harry obviously doesn't rate him. And as sb points out, Hoilett is a better option up front like he did for Blackburn.
Yep. As things stand, if Remy is out for months and DJ has been loaned out, we have Mackie, Bothroyd and 30 minutes a game Zamora!
I don't think he's ever been given a proper run. How do some of you know he's not good enough? Was it 15 he scored for Blackpool, he loves QPR. We ain't got anyone else. I'm baffled
Me too. But maybe he was told he could go before the result of Remy's injury was known. I'll be surprised if he's allowed to go now if the report on Remy is accurate.
Finally, someone who sings from the same hymn sheet as me. DJ scored double figures for Blackpool when they were relegated. He will get goals given the chance. yet another player we haven't given a proper chance too (see Ephraim, Puncheon etc)
DJ was on twitter giving out to fans who were saying that he should have stayed and waited for his chance. his reply was basically that he'd waited 2 years and still not got a chance and he wasn't going to play back-up anymore as he was too old and wanted to play football. sorry I don't know how to post the tweets. look up his timeline for the exact quotes.
