We also have a shocking record at London Road. Saying that, City have got a 100% record there every time I've been in attendance... best get my tickets sorted then!
I'm not sure a win against a side who is bottom of the pile would be a "top" result, but I know what you mean all things considered. But if we want to get promoted, the truth is we need to be beating teams like Peterborough (no offence to them!) I'd like James back in for this game ahead of King.
These are the games where we've come unstuck before, which we can't afford to do as Miami said, if we want to be promoted. They are not easy games though against the teams battling relegation, look at some of the results we've just seen for teams around us. Hopefully mitch has his tickets & we'll be alright
Agreed, on paper this is a game that we should be winning easily, but Peterborough have a good record against the top teams- notably Cardiff and Hull so far this season, and is never a game I'd be happy playing. Sounds ridiculous when you consider they're the bottom side but I'd take a point.
We need 3 and should get 3 but you cant write Peterborough off. They are more then capable of turning any team over.
We only need to look at how they turned Hull over at the KC to know not to take this fixture lightly. Still, we should beat them. When is manager of the month announced? Can't see how it wouldn't be Pearson - which inevitably means we'll be **** all month. Probably a good job the Cardiff fixtures have been moved because of the cup!
Cardiff have pretty much matched our form but the Huddersfield and Bristol scoreline should see Nigel getting it. Why dont they scrap it because no one wants it
Is that "every time" once 2009/2010? or were you at the only other match when you won at LR? that was 1964/1965 season.
That was the League Cup so doesn't even count! Our league record at your place is 1-1-3. Time to make that look a bit more respectable (for us that is!).
Still a 100% record... Tbf, I was there when we panned you in a pre-season friendly as well. I know it doesn't count for much, but still...
I do expect you to give Peterborough a chance though, I mean you could at least put a bell in the ball for George Boyd's benefit!
True, we have a very hard game against Brighton on Saturday too! It will be a difficult game, as Brighton are a very difficult team to break down, but we have broken a few records this season, we hadn't won at Elland Road or The Den for ages and we did, we have also never won at the AMEX, so be ready for a record breaker on Saturday! I don't expect many goals in it though, as both teams don't score enough goals and are hard to break down, maybe just the one goal to settle this game I think - hopefully in our favour!
All competative matches count! no picking and choosing to suit. You've won 2, drawn 1 and lost 5 at LR Live with it.
Yeah Brighton away if very tough, a point there for you would be a good result and a win would be terrific. Big game for Brighton too as they need to gain ground on the top 6
