A great man once said fail to prepare and you prepare to fail. Our jan transfers were certinally under prepared. If we are short of players then only one man is to blame.

He could just be annoyed because it rules him out of making his England U21's debut? That's with my wishful thinking hat on.

So all you end of the world merchants, there are 5 senarios. 1. Shaw is fit for Saturday, 2.Forren benifits with his time with his country and is match fit (why would the club release him if he is not match fit?), 3. Play Fox, 4. Play Clyne (if fit) and Richardson RB, 5. Let loose Targett. I do not even want to think about playing Yoshie at LB

I find it a little convenient that half of the players selected for international duty are suddenly "injured"

Well that sucks, even if he only misses the U21 game, shame for him.

It's the same whenever friendly matches come along. Players pull out left, right and centre. They know who pays their wages.

Call me selfish, but Saints come first. England duty comes a very distant second for now.

Saints come first but always very happy for the players when they get call-ups, couldn't give a toss about the England teams themselves really.
