When Madrid sack Mourinho at the end of the season, and throw money at a new team, Bale will be top of the shopping list. He'll be gone after this season, whether they're in the CL or not. In fact, it will be more funny if Spurs do get into the CL, because they'll be even more annoyed when he does leave.
Now look who's talking out of their Arsenal 'On a par' ? Every year we hear about how 'this is the year we finish above Arsenal' and every year we put you back in your rightful place, below us. You lot can only dream about playing CL football every season. So you are not on a par by any stretch of the imagination. You have got nearly two decades of achieving more than us to even be considered anywhere near on a par. As for your stadium, if that ever does get off the ground, you are going to realise just how difficult it is to pay for it and maintain a squad that challenges, gate receipts aside, there will be many years of frugality. We did it, it was tough, but we still managed to stay in the top four all through those years. Spurs aren't even finishing consistently in the top four now. You mistakenly claim that our worst nightmares will come true with a new spurs stadium, but it's you who are due the rude awakening.
Come Summer 2013, Bale will be playing for a new team. Come 2020, the spuds will still be playing in their current ****ehole. Come forever, spud moderators on this forum will still be talking like a bunch of low life toe rags from Ponders End. Who needs Mystic Meg?
Do you read nothing PISKIE I said 'on the football field' ok. I've heard all your bullshit about our stadium thank.
I can only see Bale going to Man United, Italy or Spain. It wouldn't surprise me if Bayern Munich went for him in summer though.
I think he'll end up at Utd personally. I just think he will be somebody who Fergie would pull out the stops to get. Levy will try and hold on to him like he did with Modric, but he got his fingers burned last time and lost out on millions when the player was begging to be sold. Fergie will get his way in the end though and I reckon Bale go in the region of £38m
all sad gooners, jealous because we have a true world class player.Never mind aye, maybe one day Wilshire will get there.Meanwhile your all desperate to see Bale leave Spurs
My word, this is actual banter of primary school children. Spurs have one of their greatest players ever, and one of their best teams in a good long time and are still struggling to pull away from one of the poorest Arsenal teams in the last 15 years. If Arsenal finish above Spurs this season, I won't count it as much of an achievement... no teams apart from the top 2 have played consistently good football. Whoever gets CL football out of Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton next year can thank the other two for being even poorer than them. This year has been a write-off like the last 7.
It's supposed to be banter mate And you're right, even a much improved Spurs with a player in Bale who could - and probably will - play for a big club, they are still struggling to pull away from an Arsenal team that is very much in transition. Personally, I think they peaked when they had Bale, VDV and Modric and made the CL that one season. Now they're on the slide again, it's only Bale who's hauled their arses off the floor for the last few months. If he goes in the summer, they are ****ed
