I'm loving this. It's like Tyrannosaurus Rex v Triceratops in one of those old Ray Harryhausen stop motion plasticine model films. Briiliant. Nice Jack Nicholson reference DT. Great use of the bold Imaz.

Of course not Secret. We have a third of the season left to climb out of trouble... I keep saying we have the maths, I do not agree that we are probably a mid table championship side ... we are not ... we are bottom of the Premier League
These things are FACTS. If you are on about the handbags then sorry if I get challenged like that I don't turn not even in words. Win or lose I stand my friend and I stand solid

Why, is Oddball disabled in some way?

Imaz, you have a habit of offering to fight people on this Forum. You must fancy yourself as a bit of a Mike Tyson or summat!

No problem with Imaz everyone loses it ... it's natural. Not even sure if Imaz even meant it ... it's words. There is a absolute art in the real word about this sort of thing, I understand and embrace it as and when.

If there was a good clause and maybe some decent money could be raised for a worthy cause then I suggest fight club I would be up for it

Depends how you define best. Sure enough we have spent fortunes on players and they are "better" than those who got us promoted but do you think a better squad makes a better team?

All you have to do is bring in one anti-team player like Barton and it all turns to ****. Add to that a handful of players who are at the end of their careers but demand massive wages and long contracts and the noses of our old-timers are put out of joint. Mix in a liberal dose of Francais into the dressing room language and you further alienate some more.

According to a well known on-line dictionary the following players from the Championship winning side no longer play their football at QPR (it would be another debate as to how effective they were in our promotion push or if they were quality enough to last long in the Premiership)

    Kenny
    Gorky
    Connolly
    Smith
    Helguson
    Orr
    Hall
    Buzz
    Rowlands
    Faurlin
    Routledge
    Cookie
    Dave
    Hulse
    Ramage
    Cerny
    Big Dan
Plus a handful of also-rans like Vine, German, Moen, Borrowdale etc

    All we have left are

    Adel
    Derry
    Clint
    Ephraim
    Mackie

Samba is a better player than One-Size, Remy may be a better player than Smithy, Granero might be a better player than Buzz etc but as a team I'd have to say the Championship side was better than what we have now. Not to say Harry can't knock them all into shape of course I just don't share the optimism of some on Not 606 that we are going to get it right in time to start putting the necessary results together in enough quantity to stave off relegation. On paper our squad looks awesome but on the pitch we look average and I am not as convinced as some on here that it will all turn out peachy.

Best squad of all time? FFS, that's just stupid.

You're totally delusional which might be forgiveable for someone in their teens but in your case it isn't.

I have said from my first day on here that our team then was good enough to perform (Swords will back this up) however NW went about ****ing up a thing that wasn't broke by selling the spine of our team. If you think i am talking rubbish then what do we look like at the moment without Samba. Gorkss and Connolly were the foundation. You may have missed the debates we had back then but to sum up i was attacked by Swords and others as being a oddball. I have got loads wrong but not this as team spirit is more important than talent IMO and you can't design or invent that. Here's another cracker it's got nothing to do with each individual player. No one in truth won the battle of where would we be now as no one knows. Mark Hughes in on record as being the worse that's history and fact BUT he's gone and ifs and buts won't change anything. Fact: we played good stuff under Hughes but its a results based game.
Take stock and watch the performances recently ... we have a chance and look more of a team each game ... the timing is looking right for this escape and I pose again any idea on here who could still go down this season?
This whole mood is all about missing out Saturday nothing more ... its gone lads there is no other factual ways to look at this. Even if we don't make it I will be able to look at myself and know I didn't write us off and I supported them to the end. Today i still believe ... its called faith

That was because of science and the advancement in technology in regard of the materials football boots are now made of. The day glo printing inks and porosity sealing have allowed us to produce some remarkable things.

I fully take on board that if we don't understand our past how can we plan our future but things have changed including materials, fitness, rules and skill levels. The old teams simply wouldn't be able to compete today that is FACT

I kicked a new ball around recently couldn't believe it ... it does things and you can hit it harder and faster.

Our squad is strong, Our management is strong, Our club is strong and our ground needs bulldozing. These are facts

You mustn't confuse thinking that we will probably go down with not supporting the team completely.

    Oh yes he must!!

And DT ain't the only one who thinks those of us seeing the signs, ain't shouting our lungs out supporting them Rs in the desperate hope for a reversal of our fortunes. Coming home hoarse every time we get to a game these days! (Usually leave that kind of stuff to the pups - unless we score... )

Apologies it's a case of belief, we have established on this and other threads that none of us can predict jack ****. We are not relegated at the moment are we? We still have the maths ... I don't expect posters to agree with me that's up to them but I expect a fan not to write off their club until it is factual. On that point I stand solid. As i understand this is a reaction to not securing three points Saturday. I expect a lot more dips and a lot more highs and it took hours to talk my boy around Saturday. Bricktop it was evident on Saturday we need all voices to become one to raise our hopes. When you get posts saying we are probably a mid table championship side does that not stir anything inside? It's bad enpugh coming from rival fan groups but your own fan base with the world watching ... not on for me ... balance restored
