Although I've been critical of Cisse, I think it was a mistake to get rid of the only natural goal scorer in the squad. Could still have played a massive role coming off the bench - especially given his tendency to score in the second half. The Remy injury just compounds the mistake, really.

If this "news" is definitely true then it is very big news and all the newspapers and pundits will jump on it and use it as a stick to beat Harry, Tony and QPR with.

So why is it an after-thought added to the end of a few Harry quotes.

How does the Carl Long know before he has had his scan?

Eamon & co - relax. It's just crap, lazy journalism from the Sun, they pick up any snippet and make up the rest they don't know.

Remy will be fully fit and banging the goals in but not likely to be available for Swans.

The Mail has this bad news if correct:

Blow for QPR's survival hopes as £8m Remy faces TWO MONTHS on the sidelines with groin injuryBy Andy James
    PUBLISHED: 15:22 GMT, 4 February 2013 | UPDATED: 16:10 GMT, 4 February 2013

QPR fear that £8million striker Loic Remy could be out for two months with the injury he suffered in training last week which forced him to miss Saturday's 0-0 draw with Norwich.

The France forward scored on his QPR debut in the 1-1 draw at West Ham after signing from Marseille during the transfer window.

Headache: Remy's injury leaves Redknapp short of options up front

Rangers boss Harry Redknapp was hoping that Remy could spearhead the club's survival bid as they look to bridge the six-point gap to safety in their remaining 13 games.

But now he faces the prospect of being without his striker for the next six games - including relegation clashes at Aston Villa and Southampton in March and possibly the visit of Wigan in April.

Redknapp initially said the injury was a tear after the Norwich game, but assistant manager Joe Jordan told the BBC it was a 'slight strain'.

Off to a flyer: Remy scored on his debut for QPR against West Ham
'I have no idea how long he will be out. We will have to see how he is on Sunday and Monday,' Redknapp said.

'It was in the last minute of training, and he just struck a ball and felt it go.'

After failing to land Peter Crouch and Peter Odemwingie on deadline day Remy's injury leaves Bobby Zamora and Jamie Mackie as Redknapp's only fit first-team strikers.

Inclined towards the same view meself Husky. Said it before, always thought any striker acquired would be to add to Cisse, not to replace him.

From the looks of it though, Cisse made an arse of himself and ended up on 'Arry's 'unusable' list. His reluctance to help us was pretty obvious in the end. Hero to jerk in no time at all!

    Still no news on Remy?

Really could make or break any chance of survival!

Brix, I don't think the twitterons helped with the abuse in his direction. There are definite down sides to the instant accessibility of the modern world.

Do you all not remember quite how uninterested Cisse was vs MK Dons.
Do you not remember how the commentators said "QPR are playing with 10 men".

I would be more help than Cisse at this moment.

COL you don't half talk rot sometimes. Cisse was a total and utter disgrace for us this season. His sauntering around up at West Brom (not MKD Betty!) was the last straw for Harry and many of us on here. There's little difference between him and Bosingwa in my opinion.

And then you say he was right not to try because he got some abuse on Twitter?!!!!

Are you living in the real World pal?
