Either United or City will win the league. On the one side we have RVP, the guy who had one decent season before ****ing off to join our rivals and spitting on the club who'd stuck by him all these years. On the other we have money bags City with a veritable cast of twats who came to warm a bench in exchange for millions. Who would you rather won the league?
Manchester United. So van Persie doesn't end his career without a major honour. All grievances aside, it would be a travesty if a player of his quality were to never be in a trophy winning team.
He had already been in a trophy winning team at Arsenal. I don't care about Van Persie's personal glory. In shafting us to join a rival he made our position more difficult, so **** him. Plus the thought of seeing Fergie going a shade of Beetroot at having the title snatched from him again would be too funny City (and Chelsea) winning the league is tainted with their obscene spending to achieve it and doesn't ever really feel like they've genuinely earned it, so because of that and because it would piss Fergie and Utd off, I'd rather see City win it.
Man City. If they win the title, we can just point to their sugar daddy and write it off. With United it stings more, we used to be rivals, so their is some history there and also the RVP factor plays a huge role.
It reminds me of that episode of Southpark. Who do you vote for, "The Giant Douche" or "The Turd Sandwich"?
Seems most want Man City. I agree. I respect your decision, but Van Persie spent most of his career injured, so it shouldn't have surprised him that he didn't win anything (apart from one FA Cup at the start). Also, he's a massive ****, so he'd deserve it.
I was just being controversial. In all honesty, he is still one of my favourite players, and from a fairly young age he was always my favourite, for some reason I just always saw him as such an intelligent player, I always rated him incredibly highly. To me, he was that player that you try to emulate on the playground, so it's very hard for me to just turn around and start calling every name under the sun and disassociate my self with him. I would have loved for him to stay and win a trophy with us, but it wasn't to be. I don't want Manchester United to win the league, or Manchester City, or any team apart from Arsenal, but we won't win it, so another team has to. Realistically it'll go to Manchester, and on the basis of my van Persie favouritism, it'll be Manchester United.
You never know, they were 8 points behind United last season with a only a handful of games left, I remember when we beat them 1-0 everybody thought it was the nail in their coffin, yet they still turned it around. City have a big advantage over United in that they're not in the UCL, the UCL legs take a lot out of you, especially when you're playing a team like Madrid.
out of the current top 7 in the league, the only team besides us that i wouldn't mind winning the league is everton. united are ****heads and they have van persie city have na$ri and a bunch of other money grabbing ****s chelsea are also rich bastards with players like terry the spuds are the spuds liverpool wud just be a shambles with their fans claiming they're the best in the world
