These are the proper awards, as genuine thought goes into them. Okay, two of them were obvious, but RG3 lived up to the hype, and Denver would have been here tonight if the coach had trusted Peyton Manning on fourth down, seven points to the good with one minute left and no Ravens timeouts. As a Niners fan you'd think I'd be bigging up tonight's award. But unless someone does multiple spectacular things and puts in an otherwise consistent performance, it's a given that tonight's winning quarterback will be MVP.
