Seriously miserable after yesterday and had us pretty much down. I then started to think about the dreaded run in and where we will end up. The BBC predictor is quite interesting because it forces you take the focus off how crap we are and look at the bigger picture. That bigger picture reveals that our run in is so much better than last year. The key w/e is the 6th April when we play Wigan at home, Stove v Villa and Reading v Southampton. There are obvious games where is win is very likely eg Manchesters v most others, those where a draw seem feasible eg Stoke v WBA and those where a win is possible but perhaps less likely. I've only allocated us one away win and that is at Villa. The home wins are Wigan and Sunderland and the rest are draws or losses Just give it a go. You may be surprised by the outcome, even if you are brutally honest with our games! I think it will be low total points required to survive and I think we can still do it provided we get some luck and Remy gets fit. If you feel terminally miserable, just give it a go and let me know what you think after. DO NOT GIVE UP YET - wait until at least 6th April. That is QPR's make or break weekend. I've got the top as United, City, Chelsea and Arsenal and bottom three as Southampton, Wigan and Villa. I am well aware that we could just as easily be in the bottom three so I do not post this with any arrogance at all. It just made me feel better even if that feeling is built on vain hope and merely temporary. Come on Rangers, let's finish this season with a Herculean effort that sees us stay in this league. It is not impossible - yet!
You've given me a little bit of hope there RTID...Please tell us your predictions for the R's if possible (and if you have the time)
do it the maths looks good for us and don't view the table until the last game you may get a big surprise
Thanks for that RTID! Wigan, Villa and Foolham went down. Reading overtook Foolham on the last day. Cheers!
It's a predictor, your predictions, your bias, how many of us did this at beginning of the season?, did you get what you predicted? Did you predict that Swansea would beat us 5-0, did you predict that WHU just up from the championship would beat us at home? Did you predict that Southampton just up from the championship would thrash us at home? did you predict that Reading would come from behind twice in recent games to win and draw?. My guess is no. Let's have our own QPR prediction as to who will score the next goal for us?. Not easy is it!.
Sorry Totally but I just can't see it. Some on here remind me of the band on the Titanic, foolishly continuing to play knowing they cannot do anything about the ship sinking!.
Nope sorry there is maths involved here and it's a good way to show you that things are possible because of the fixtures ... Try it and you will see Do it with your head and be fair you will see things could open up for us Now one can predict anything of course but I think thus tool will show everyone on here that below 10th it can still be a real mix up People put their faith in the bookies and they change like the wind Based on our home form at the moment we should get a result against Man united yet most of us can't see that can we? Nor do the bookies based on what? Man Utd may come down with a mystery bug and we win 6-0 Just do it for yourself you will see
Madrid, I love ya to bits but would you please just p*** off and let me be happy and content just for a little while...Your realist point of view has just ruined that . And btw, the band on the Titanic playing till the end was just a myth.....so I hope I've shattered your illusions as you have just shattered mine
Here goes. There is some margin in these predictions as you will see: Swans:QPR L (though it pains me to say it!!) QPR: Man U L Soton:QPR D QPR: Sund W Villa:QPR W Fulham:QPR D QPR:WIgan W QPR: Stoke D Reading:QPR D QPR:Arsenal L QPR:Newc D Liv:QPR L As Madrid says, it is full of bias and uncertainty (obviously) but the point is that if our luck changes just a little - Samba getting fitter, Remy not our for long, put the next penalty away, Adel and Townsend link up even more, etc, etc, etc then we are not quite dead and buried yet. Let's see what 6.4.13 brings and revisit this after that w/e. If you do the maths, that only gives us 32 points but I really do think it will be a low total required to survive. Nevertheless, we may need one more win where I've allocated a draw eg Fulham away or perhaps Stoke at home (after all, we did beat Stoke last year when we really needed to!) Glad it made a few folks feel slightly happier even if only for a while.
I would rather go my death in peace than some of the other ****ers who moan and die anyway Belief comes from within but if you are hollow then it's just echos
Hey seaman, there is no stauncher QPR fan on here than me, believe me!. We have just been left with too much to do. Do you remember how much happier we all were in the championship! ;-)
Why? Going into a match you have a equal chance I predicted the 5-0 first game as most of us did just the wrong team I predict the Man Utd team will get attacked by a load of rooks and this leaves two dead I am also sure that Man it'd wont get relegated because they can't Any idea who else can't get relegated? that fact may surprise you
See you got me feeling happier again, thinking of happier times, soon to be revisited. Thanks for that
