I thought Raith Rovers played well, stayed compact and put a lot of effort in. The pitch was atrocious and along with the wind made conditions very difficult to play a smooth passing game. The deserved penalty changed things and in the end a professional job accomplished ... thankfully.

I feel very sorry for Mensing, the referee who had a hat trick of penalties refused to Celtic, obviously Mensing and other Raith defenders felt the referee was of the type That the blue team couldn't concede penalties. So Mensing tested him again and this time the referee. Made a mistake and gave Celtic a deserved penalty .
Only time in 33 years of watching us and not getting a celtic ticket was st mirren last time away in cup ended up home end and we got beat 1-0 .Reminded my ticket man !! as the draw was made . Ps the referee was a cheat today .
The two handballs, in my opinion, weren't penalties... The first challenge on Commons was a stick on defo penalty The second challenge on Commons was a softish penalty So, one of out a possible two.

Agreed. In Spain you are supposed to get the handballs too. I think St Rachan mentioned that too once. I think the interpretation as we have it is fine. We got a gift last week and spurned it. I didn't have too much of a problem with the one given against us.
We got our penalty today because of THREE awards that went against us before, this weekend reminds us of what has gone on for years in Scottish football .
