I seriously hope not, he's not a patch on Kenwyne imo. Sure he works hard but I don't think he's the man for us. Personally id rather have Bothroyd on a free and go for a goal scorer with the majority of whatever budget Steve Bruce gets given (yes it will be him) Is Carew a free agent in the summer does anyone know? I've always liked him and was hoping we got him as part of the bent deal.

Doyle would be the perfect partner for Gyan.

I would be happy if we signed him. Bothroyd on free would be canny to.

    Gyan
    Doyle
    Bothroyd
    ?
    Campbell (when he gets fit)

Kevin Doyle is the main reason I want Wolves to stay up, if they do the less likely he is of coming to us

the lad is average at best man

    a poor mans Kenwyne

do you think the likes of Sessegnon and Gyan are going to stay with us if our main targets are fodder like Kevin Doyle the club talk about getting into the top 10 then maybe challenging for Europe, players like Kevin Doyle aint going to take us ther

according to his wiki 9goals last season and 8 this aint what we need

    Bothroyd wouldn't take him aswell

adding to my previous comment only player from Wolves who I wouldn't mind seeing at the SoL is Jarvis, he looks a good player to me

I think Jarvis will be at Liverpool next season, id rather have seb larrsen for free than pay the 8-10m wolves would demand for jarvis

In my opinion, Doyle is a totally different type of player to Jones, and I would certainly think he would improve our team. However, I would put his valuation at nearer 5 million rather than 8 million.

They paid 6.5 for him and they'll consider that he's had 2 successful seasons for them so surely Would only sell for a profit if they are still in the premier league next season.

West Brom are set to slap in a £4million bid for Fulham striker Andy Johnson.

Roy Hodgson took Johnson, 30, to Craven Cottage in August 2008 in a £10.5m deal.

Think i'd rather have him for that money...

Replacing Bent & Welbeck with Doyle and Bothroyd would lets face it equal another relegation battle next season, which I fear we may be in regardless of who we buy in the summer.

haha nah just dispondent still after the weekend, it would though, I mean Wolves players are down there for a reason and Bothroyd is also playing in the Championship for a reason and thats because they cant cut it. I do like Doyle though but not as our main goal source.

Well if we do need half a dozen new players, we won't have the money for half a dozen big money signings.

So I reckon 3 or 4 'frees' will be arriving.

I think Doyle is a very good player, and i think Fletcher is as well.

I think either of those would be a great foil for Gyan, and i maintain that Bothroyd would also be a great squad addition.

I still think Danny Graham would be a better adi=dition than any of the above, and i think if the Toon get him, they've made a great signing.

Time to get real, we wont and cant be buying 3 or 4 15mil players nad would they come to be squad players if we could.

Boothroyds and Doyls will be excellent back up players, would have liked either over the past few weeks.

After The last game of the season ,names will appear thick and fast, the tabloids and web sites like Transfer Tavern, will be churning them out, at the moment I have no wish list regarding players coming or going, that is the task of boards and managers, and I dont think boards or managers ever gave a toss about who the supporter wanted at their clubs, I suppose the closest would be Freddy Shep, he did try and please the fans, being one himself, but that can be a bad thing also, ie Ridsdale and Leeds Utd. dare say we will have a few surprises along the way, I must admit to liking the summer window, and the mass movement of players, makes every fan sit up and take notice, just hope we can do well in the next transfer window.
