Can't see it posted anywhere, sorry if it's repeated but very good news... BBC Radio 5 live: QPR assistant manager Joe Jordan has just revealed on BBC Radio 5 live that star striker Loic Remy has a "slight groin strain". There had been mixed reports over the severity of the injury, and that latest revelation is great news for the relegation-threatened team.
That really is a piece of news to lift us all. His movement and pace are something that we desperately need in the coming weeks and months.
I read that they were waiting for the results of a scan tomorrow. But if this is true then that is indeed good news.
I would think that with the break after swans, he would be rested for that game unless 100% and then brought back against utd at home. Hopefully bz will be fit be then as they could make a strong pairing.
I'm not sure we'll see BZ play a full 90 minutes. There's talk of another op on his hip, although presumably after the end of the season.
That's right. Harry said BZ can only play around 30 mins per game. Hope and pray Remy isn't too bad Goldie!
Hope Harry keeps him celibate while the groin heals, Col. You know what these amorous Frenchmen are like...
Heard Joe on 5 Live while watching a shambolic game of District rugby. He was very good, playing down the overall spend, noting that quality players expect premiership wages, disappointed with Norwich result. Re not getting Crouch or Odemwingie, reckon it could be because TF was not excited by them as he was Remy and Samba, where it seems he personally did the negotiations. Either would have been handy for the next few months, but Tony is trying to get us out of the small club mentality, and they are small club players. Or perhaps Harold thought we were being ripped of for both. Or TF was too knackered......
or maybe he didnt want to spend another 8 million on top of the 23 he has already spent!. I dont think its all his money though
Didn't Harry say that Stoke didn't want to sell Crouch? And WBA clearly didn't want to sell the other one. Meant TF was going to have to offer well over the odds, and he's been telling everyone since he's not a fool with his money.
