****ing hell. Small saver was a good idea after all. Bit disappointed DC couldn't out battle Mozoltov.

Looked to me like AP gave Ned Buntline a very soft ride there!

Don Cossack is ungenuine - Davy Russell had him stoked twice to take the Mullins horse but the horse didn't go through with it - didn't want to win. Can't remember seeing that to such a pronounced effect for a long time.

The jump at the last won it for the Mozoltov.

I will get slated for this Bob but I thought Davy Russell unbalanced the horse at the last there, lost him a little momentum! Swap jockeys and DC wins for me.

I'm not sure if he's ungenuine. Jumps big. Probably needs a fence already.

    Hello lads.

Some decent action today...three nice novices there at Punchestown in the G2 hurdle.

Re the Arkle I'm firmly in the Simonsig camp.Overturn is a smashing horse but a 40 times raced 9-y-o winning the Arkle?...hmmmmm.

I didnt give Mozoltov much respect but he must be a good horse, the 2nd and 3rd are chasers but it looks strong novice form. Possibly stronger than Jezkis! McCoy wasnt hard on Ned Buntline but he wouldnt have won, not good enough on the day.

The weather forecast for Dublin looks largely dry for next week - hope that means we get decent ground for the Hennessy next Saturday so we can see Flemenstar hose up <ok>

Backed Colbert Station in the Pertemps Qualifier as he looks a complete blot. Small e/w saver on Oscars Business.

I'd agree with all of that.

Anyone prepared to take Pont Alexandre on after today? He must hold an almighty chance in the Neptune

Race of the festival (or certainly the best novice race)

Will need to see how the ground comes up and who else turns up, couldn't be taking 3s about him atm though.

What a race it will be with Puffin Billy and The New One, Ireland meets UK head on, most interesting race of the week for me atm

I'd agree lads. He'll be 2's on the day I think and that's more appealing than taking the risk of him going for the AB. I'm on PA for both at 8's already but not for serious sums.

Puffin Billy represents early season form and I'm always wary of that. The New One is the real challenge but the market tells us that anyway. Really exciting prospect that race.
