I know we haven't had a JB thread for a while so apologies in advance for starting one up now BUT........ I was talking to a workmate the other day who was over in France and went to see Rennes v Marseille while he was there. He said our Joey played very very well, was MOM and was the stand out player in the game. Very dominent and acted like a true leader for the team. I havn't been following how he has been doing out there so was this just a one off ?? or is he doing that week in, week out ?? Does anyone think it would of maybe been a good idea to bring him back and give him a final chance to show us what he can do ?? Or just best to get rid and leave him to play in France ??
He's another player who suffered the famous QPR Anti-Midas syndrome, everything we touch turns to shyte...
Its a tough call because he could benefit the team or he could poison the dressing room. I dont think I would risk bringing him back if I was manager
terrifyingly short memories on here. Let's hope they stump up for keeping him out of the country permanently.
It's not the player but the person and what he represents that we don't need. He is not QPR and never will be. It's a matter of principles and we're better rid.
Quite right I'd turn it in if he ever made an appearance back at QPR. That goes for Cisse too. A disgrace, the pair of 'em.
That's the crux of it. He was very average and frequently sh*t for us when he played. Poor player. Nasty person
I would of had him back but obviously that comes with a risk that he could potentially disrupt the dressing room
Not in our squad anyway. Best we can hope for now is that he's so good for OM they're happy to buy him.
One player I hated from day one and against my principles I openly ranted at him at Loftus road. Dreadfully overrated and on record at believing he his own hype Not good enough and not a nice person a complete fraud
