Why is it every time we lose this forum turns into a shower of whining little pussies. If you are all so good go and manage a top team. So ****ing fickle.
It's not fickle mate, its frustration. We have to be so much better than yesterday for the money we have spent and the players we have. Don't we?
I will repeat myself untill we can beat the likes of reading qpr Norwich and other low teams away from home we are going nowhere
Guys this is your rebuilding season isn't it? Don't be on a downer. We're having a similar season in that we have made a lot of changes, some of which will not be visible until next year. Neither of us will be going down, I'm certain of that now. We all just need to ride out the storm.
My fear is that we are no better than these teams though and they view us with the same sentiments? Good post mate and very true.
This is so true......................its the real reason we get called Sad Mackem Bastards.......some moan a lot.
Perhaps you should check some of the teams QPR and Norwich have beat this season, if you do you will realise there are no easy games in the premiership. We have no god given right to expect us to beat any team and perhaps it is your expectations that need adjusting. Just as we did not expect to beat Citeh at home yet we did.
Sadly mate, 4 consecutive decades of false hopes, massive disappointments, humiliating results and performances and above all precious little to get excited about tends to make us all moaners but with a total understanding. Even now, with the manager we all want (or most anyway including me); a lot of investment and some decent players we are getting beaten off a shower of ****e like Reading, which doesn't make us very much better really. For all the good things that are happening and as much as I try to remain positive, I just don't get the feeling we are a club on the up and that's a trifle worrying to me.
Cest, I share your and everybody's frustration. Reading are on a remarkable run of getting late goals - is it self belief? passion? commitment?...........I believe it is all of them with a huge helping of luck. Who are we to say that any team in the Premiership is a shower of ****e - no team deserves that tag, as has been proven this season any team can beat anyone anywhere. Are our assessments of other clubs the problem, any victories home or away have to be earned and fought for, none are a give.........no team is really playing poorly in the premiership this season, we need to appreciate that - the standards are improving, the battles harder to win and therefore success harder to achieve. If its victories week in and week out we expect then perhaps Sunderland need to get relegated and play in the championship so everybody's expectations are fulfilled. After 40+ years of being a Sunderland supporter I manage my expectations this limits my frustrations.........if success means that much to anyone then they will be perpetually frustrated.
i dont think my expectations need adjusting we loose away to the so called big boy and we lose away to the ****e simple
yes i uderstand but if we ARE to move and live with the so called big boys that is what we have to aim for and it is not going to happen over night but we start by beeting the ****e first
